Jojo collaborates with MNEK

Jojo is working on music with new collaborator MNEK.

There’s currently no word on what the recording session was supposed to yield — new Jojo music, new MNEK material or a combination thereof.

MNEK recently co-wrote and / or produced “Losing” by Becky Hill [Parlophone], “Sing That Song” by TIEKS f/ Celeste [Atlantic], “All I See” by Bondax f/ Tanya Lacey [Relentless] and “Special” by Billon f/ Maxine Ashley [Virgin EMI].

His upcoming debut album – featuring singles “Every Little Word” and “Wrote a Song About You” – is scheduled for release in 2015 via iTunes in partnership with Virgin EMI Records (UK) and Cherrytree / Interscope Records (US).

Meanwhile, Jojo’s third studio collection with hit stores and digital outlets via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2006’s “The High Road,” which peaked at number two on the US Albums Chart and spawned the Billy Steinberg and Josh Alexander-produced hit single “Too Little, Too Late.”

Among the musicians backing Jojo on the highly-anticipated album are Harmony “H-Money” Samuels, Diane Warren, Andrew “Pop” Wansel, Marsha Ambrosius, Da Internz, Ruth-Anne Cunningham, and The Stereotypes.

Ciara reunites with Polow Da Don for new album

Ciara has reunited with Polow Da Don for her upcoming sixth album.

The pair previously teamed up on singles “Promise” and “Never Ever,” taken from the albums “Ciara: The Evolution” and “Fantasy Ride,” respectively.

Polow Da Don – born Jamal Jones – is also responsible for producing “Anaconda” by Nicki Minaj [Republic Records], “Someone Else” by Mario [RCA Records] and “Wickedest Style” by Sean Paul [Atlantic Records].

Ciara, meanwhile, is expected to release her new studio collection later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records.

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2013’s “Ciara,” which peaked at number two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned hit singles including “Body Party,” “I’m Out” and “Overdose.”

Other musicians backing Ciara on the new LP are Dr. Luke (Ne-Yo, Katy Perry), Mike WiLL Made It (Usher, Keri Hilson), Diane Warren (Brandy, Paloma Faith), Cirkut (Rihanna, Miley Cyrus) and Soundz (K. Michelle, Jasmine Villegas).

Paloma Faith debuts new single “Ready for the Good Life”

Paloma Faith has debuted her new single online.

The British singer/songwriter posted the “Ready for the Good Life” audio clip to her official Vevo page on Monday (October 06, 2014).

“Ready for the Good Life” marks the first promotional cut from the artist’s repackaged edition of her latest album, “A Perfect Contradiction,” out in the United Kingdom on November 3rd via RCA Records.

The track was co-written and produced by Klas Ahlund, whose resume includes works for Kylie Minogue (“Speakerphone”), Britney Spears (“Piece of Me”), Madonna (“Some Girls”) and Katy Perry (“This is How We Do”).

Other songs confirmed for inclusion on the rejuvenated project are the Diane Warren-penned “Leave While I’m Not Looking” and “Best Bad Habit,” as well as Faith’s own rendition of her current Sigma collaboration “Changing.”

Paloma Faith has announced the details for her new single.

The British singer/songwriter christened “Ready for the Good Life” as the next promotional release from the repackaged edition of her third album, “A Perfect Contradiction,” out on November 3 via RCA Records.

The track was co-written and produced by Klas Ahlund, whose resume includes works for Kylie Minogue [Parlophone Records], Britney Spears [RCA Records], Madonna [Interscope Records] and Katy Perry [Capitol Records].

Other songs confirmed for inclusion on the rejuvenated project are the Diane Warren-penned “Leave While I’m Not Looking” and “Best Bad Habit,” as well as Faith’s own rendition of her current Sigma collaboration “Changing.”

Notable credits by the legendary songwriter include “I Was Here” by Beyonce [Columbia Records], “Only Love Can Hurt Like This” by Paloma Faith [RCA Records] and “I Heart You” by Tessanne Chin [Republic Records].

Warren also confirmed placements on the next projects by Ciara [Epic Records], Rita Ora [Columbia Records], Jojo [Atlantic Records], Adele [XL Recordings], Florence Welch [Island Records] and Brandy [RCA Records].

Meanwhile, the upcoming studio collection by Lewis is expected to be released later this year via Island Records. It serves as the follow-up to 2013’s “Christmas, with Love,” which peaked at number thirteen on the UK Albums Chart.

Other contributors on the highly-anticipated LP are Jesse Shatkin (Sia, Kelly Clarkson), Autumn Rowe (Little Mix, Kylie Minogue), Jon Levine (Selena Gomez, Nelly Furtado) and Stephan Moccio (Celine Dion, Miley Cyrus).

The legendary songwriter is known for penning “Unbreak My Heart” by Toni Braxton [LaFace Records], “Have You Ever?” by Brandy [Atlantic Records] and “I Learned from the Best” by Whitney Houston [Arista Records].

Her extensive resume also includes works for Mariah Carey [Def Jam Recordings], Beyoncé [Columbia Records], Adele [XL Recordings], Paloma Faith [RCA Records], Florence Welch [Island Records] and Jojo [Atlantic Records].

Meanwhile, the new studio collection by Ciara is expected to be released later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records.

The highly-anticipated LP serves as the follow-up to 2013’s “Ciara,” which peaked at number two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and delivered two hit singles in the shape of “Body Party” and “I’m Out.”

R&B singer/songwriter Brandy has added Warren “Oak” Felder to the list of contributors for her upcoming seventh studio album.

Felder is responsible for co-writing and producing Toni Braxton’s “Hands Tied” [Atlantic Records], Jennifer Lopez’s “Expertease” [Capitol Records] and Ariana Grande’s “Break Your Heart Right Back” [Republic Records].

His extensive resume also includes works for Elle Varner [RCA Records], K. Michelle [Atlantic Records], Nicki Minaj [Cash Money Records], Jessie J [Republic Records] and Ella Henderson [Syco Music].

He also worked on the next projects Ty Dolla $ign [Atlantic Records], Elle Varner [RCA Records], Omarion [Warner Bros. Records], Nick Jonas [Island Records] and Kendrick Lamar [Interscope Records].

Meanwhile, the new studio collection by Brandy is expected to be released later this year. It serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “Two Eleven,” which peaked at number three on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

Paloma Faith has unveiled the music video for her new single online.

“Trouble with My Baby” marks the third promotional single from the British singer/songwriter’s latest album, “A Perfect Contradiction.”

The track was co-written by Andrea Martin, whose credits include Naughty Boy’s “Think About It” [Virgin EMI Records], Daley’s “Blame the World” [Republic Records] and Leona Lewis’ “When It Hurts” [Syco Music].

Production duties were handled by Steve Robson, who is also responsible for James Arthur’s “Is This Love” [Syco Music], Rebecca Ferguson’s “Bridges” [RCA Records] and Eliza Doolittle’s “Big When I Was Little” [Parlophone Records].

“A Perfect Contradiction” – which features the Pharrell Williams produced-“Can’t Rely on You” and Diane Warren-penned “Only Love Can Hurt Like This” – is now available for download via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.
