Karen Harding hits the studio with Evan Bogart, Emanuel Kiriakou for debut album

British singer/songwriter Karen Harding has recorded new material with Evan “Kidd” Bogart and Emanuel Kiriakou for her upcoming debut album.

Bogart recently co-wrote “Ghosttown” for Madonna along with Jason Evigan and Sean Douglas. The Billboard-produced track is lifted from the artist’s latest album, “Rebel Heart,” out now via Interscope Records.

Meanwhile, Kiriakou’s production and songwriting resume includes works for Demi Lovato (“Let it Go”), Selena Gomez (“Who Says”), Bridgit Mendler (“Ready or Not”) and David Archuleta (“Crush”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Harding is expected to release her first studio collection later this year under Method Records and Capitol Records.

Lead single “Say Something” – featuring songwriting and production by fellow UK artist MNEK – peaked to number seven on the UK Singles Chart.

Other musicians backing Harding on the keenly-awaited album are Diane Warren (Ciara, Leona Lewis), Fraser T. Smith (Kwabs, Sam Smith), Camille Purcell (Little Mix, Rita Ora) and Jimmy Napes (Disclosure, Ellie Goulding).

British singer/songwriter Karen Harding has drafted the songwriting services of Diane Warren for her upcoming debut album.

The legendary songwriter is known for her works with Toni Braxton (“Unbreak My Heart”), Christina Aguilera (“I Turn to You”), Beyonce (“I Was Here”) and Celine Dion (“Because You Loved Me”).

Furthermore, Warren has contributed to the next projects by Brandy [MBK Entertainment], Ciara [Epic], Leona Lewis [Island], Jojo [Atlantic],  Kelly Rowland [Def Jam] and Grace Sewell [RCA].

Meanwhile, Harding is expected to release her first studio collection later this year under Method Records in conjunction with Capitol Records.

Lead single “Say Something” is now available for download via iTunes. The MNEK-produced track peaked to number seven on the UK Singles Chart.

Other musicians backing Harding on the album are Rodney Jerkins, Camille Purcell, Richard Stannard, Jin Jin, Tom Aspaul, Chelcee Grimes, Jimmy Napes, Laura Dockrill, Bradford Ellis, Autumn Rowe and Fraser T. Smith.

Leona Lewis reveals song titles from upcoming fifth album

Leona Lewis has revealed new song titles from her upcoming album.

“I Am,” “I Got You,” “Ladders” and “Thank You” are slotted for inclusion on the British singer/songwriter’s fifth studio collection, which will be released later this year under Universal Music Group / Island Records.

Lead single “Fire” was written by Lewis along with Toby Gad, whose other credits include Madonna’s “Living for Love” [Interscope], John Legend’s “All of Me” [Columbia] and Demi Lovato’s “Skyscraper” [Hollywood].

Fans of Gad’s songwriting and production works should peep the next projects by Carly Rae Jepsen [Interscope], Tori Kelly [Capitol], Madison Beer [Island], Pixie Lott [Virgin EMI] and Becky Hill [Parlophone].

Meanwhile, the upcoming album by Lewis is confirmed to boast additional songwriting contributions from Diane Warren (Brandy, Toni Braxton), Autumn Rowe (Zendaya, Little Mix) and Anne Preven (Jordin Sparks, Katy Perry).

Producers include Wayne Wilkins (Beyonce, Keri Hilson), Jesse Shatkin (Sia, Kylie Minogue), Stephan Moccio (Ne-Yo, The Weeknd), Steve Booker (Jessie J, Alexandra Burke) and TMS (Ella Eyre, Emeli Sande).

Ciara has revealed the official tracklist for her upcoming sixth album.

The singer/songwriter is scheduled to release “Jackie” on May 4 under Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records.

Lead single “I Bet” – now available for download via iTunes – was co-written by Rock City (Usher, Nicki Minaj) and produced by Harmony Samuels (Brandy, Teyana Taylor) and Chris “TEK” O’Ryan (Jennifer Lopez, Nicole Scherzinger).

Other album producers include Polow Da Don (Fergie, Keri Hilson), Mike WiLL Made It (Miley Cyrus, Keyshia Cole), Dr. Luke (Tinashe, Britney Spears), Cirkut (Rihanna, Katy Perry) and The Underdogs (Tyrese, Justin Timberlake).

Songwriting collaborators are Diane Warren (Paloma Faith, Kelly Rowland), Ester Dean (Rita Ora, Florence Welch), Livvi Franc (Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez) and Ali Tamposi (Beyonce, Kelly Clarkson).

Grace Sewell has collaborated with Fraser T. Smith on new material.

“Just wrote something a lil special with @frasertsmith1. Can’t wait for you guys to hear,” the singer/songwriter posted to her official Instagram account.

Smith is known for helming Adele’s “Set Fire to the Rain” [XL Recordings], Sam Smith’s “Not in that Way” [PMR / Capitol Records], Leona Lewis’ “Trouble” [Syco Music] and Britney Spears’ “Trouble for Me” [RCA Records].

The Grammy award winning songwriter and record producer also contributed to the next projects by Kwabs [Atlantic], Bipolar Sunshine [Polydor], Javeon [PMR], Karen Harding [Capitol], Bebe Rexha [Warner Bros] and Sigma [3 Beat].

Meanwhile, Sewell is currently working on her upcoming project under Sony Music Entertainment imprint RCA Records.

The still-untitled collection boasts further productions and songwriting contributions from Parker Ighile (Rihanna, Nicki Minaj), Diane Warren (Ciara, Jennifer Hudson) and Quincy Jones (Tamia, Michael Jackson).

Ciara has scheduled the release date for her upcoming sixth album.

The singer/songwriter’s next studio collection “Jackie” will hit stores and digital outlets on May 4 via Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records.

Lead single “I Bet” – which was produced by Harmony “H-Money” Samuels and Chris “TEK” O’Ryan – is now available for download via iTunes.

“Jackie” serves as the follow-up to 2013’s “Ciara,” which peaked to number two on the US Albums Chart and spawned hit singles including the Mike WiLL Made It-produced “Body Party” and the Nicki Minaj-assisted “I’m Out.”

Other producers backing Ciara on “Jackie” are The Underdogs (Beyonce, Justin Timberlake), Dr. Luke (Tinashe, Britney Spears), Cirkut (Rihanna, Katy Perry), Polow Da Don (Fergie, Jamie Foxx) and Soundz (Usher, K. Michelle).

On the songwriting front, the keenly-awaited album boasts contributions from Diane Warren (Rita Ora, Florence Welch), Ester Dean (Selena Gomez, Chris Brown) and Rock City (Kelly Rowland, Leona Lewis).

Ciara has unleashed the music video for her new single online.

The singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “I Bet” to her official Vevo channel on Monday (March 09, 2015).

“I Bet” – now available for download via iTunes – was written by Ciara along with siblings Theron and Timothy Thomas of Rock City (Rihanna, Jennifer Hudson) and the song’s producer Harmony Samuels (Brandy, Chris Brown).

Video treatment was handled by Hannah Lux Davis, whose other credits include Nicki Minaj’s “Only” [Cash Money Records], Ariana Grande’s “Love Me Harder” [Republic Records] and Jason Derulo’s “Marry Me” [Warner Bros. Records].

Brandy has teamed with Darhyl “DJ” Camper on new material.

“Studio with @theycallmecamper” the R&B singer/songwriter posted to her official Instagram account on Friday (March 07, 2015).

Camper is known for co-writing and producing Elle Varner’s “Refill” [MBK / RCA Records], Tamar Braxton’s “Love and War” [Epic Records] and Stacy Barthe’s “Flawed Beautiful Creatures” [Homeschool / Motown Records].

His resume also includes works for Mariah Carey [Epic Records], John Legend [Columbia Records], Mack Wilds [Larger Than Life Records], Big Sean [Def Jam Recordings] and Nicki Minaj [Cash Money / Republic Records].

Meanwhile, Brandy is expected to release her seventh studio collection and follow-up to 2012’s “Two Eleven” later this year.

The still-untitled project will be executive-produced by MBK Entertainment CEO Jeff Robinson, who is also overseeing the next releases by Gabi Wilson [RCA Records], Justine Skye [Atlantic Records] and Daisha [Epic Records].

Other album contributors are Steve Mostyn (Usher, Kelly Clarkson), Kirby Lauryen (Kanye West, Ariana Grande), Hit-Boy (Ciara, Sevyn Streeter), Diane Warren (Kelly Rowland, Rita Ora) and Tiago Carvalho (Rihanna, Elijah Blake).

“You did an amazing job tonight, Stacy Barthe (lil sis). Chauncey, do not be late for studio tomorrow,” she posted to her Instagram page.

The R&B and Hip-Hop record producer – real name Chauncey Hollis – previously helmed “1st & Love” for Brandy along with Kara DioGuardi, Frank Ocean, Jesse “Chase N Cashe” Woodward and Rich King.

His extensive resume also includes works for Mariah Carey (“Thirsty”), Beyonce (“XO”), Kelly Rowland (“Lay it On Me”), Rihanna (“Watch ‘N Learn”), Nicki Minaj (“Come on a Cone”) and John Legend (“The Beginning”).

Meanwhile, Brandy’s next studio collection and follow-up to 2012’s “Two Eleven” is scheduled to hit stores and digital outlets later this year.

MBK Entertainment CEO Jeff Robinson serves as the album’s executive producer. He is also overseeing the upcoming releases by Elle Varner, Gabi Wilson, Justine Skye, Daisha and Tiara Thomas.

Lady Gaga has reunited with RedOne for her upcoming fourth album.

The Moroccan record producer and songwriter – real name Nadir Khayat –previously teamed with Gaga on hit singles including “Just Dance,” “Poker Face,” “Bad Romance,” “Alejandro” and “Judas.”

His extensive resume also includes works for Nicole Scherzinger (“Poison”), Enrique Iglesias (“Taking Back My Love”), Nicki Minaj (“Starships”), Priyanka Chopra (“Exotic”) and Jennifer Lopez (“On the Floor”).

Meanwhile, Gaga’s next studio collection is expected to be released later this year via Universal Music Group / Interscope Records.

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2013’s “Artpop,” which debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

In addition to RedOne, legendary hitmakers Diane Warren and Nile Rodgers have also been linked to the keenly-awaited CD.
