Ciara reveals new single “Give Me Love” artwork

Ciara - Give Me Love

Ciara has revealed the artwork for her new single.

“Give Me Love” was co-written by Theron Thomas of Rock City along with Jacob “JKash” Kasher, whose other credits include Carly Rae Jepsen’s “I Really Like You” [Interscope] and Fifth Harmony’s “Bo$$” [Syco / Epic].

Production duties were handled by Dr. Luke and Cirkut, who are also responsible for Nicki Minaj’s “The Night is Still Young” [Republic], Ne-Yo’s “She Knows” [Motown] and Elliphant’s “Love Me Badder” [Kemosabe].

Ciara’s latest album “Jackie” – featuring previous single “I Bet” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Epic Records.

The collection boasts further alliances with Harmony Samuels (Brandy, Chris Brown), Diane Warren (Beyonce, Celine Dion), The Underdogs (Usher, Jennifer Hudson) and Ester Dean (Rihanna, Kelly Rowland).

Brandy enlists Darhyl “DJ” Camper for new EP

Brandy is plotting to release a five-song EP later this year.

The still-untitled collection will be entirely produced by Darhyl “DJ” Camper, whose recent credits include Nicki Minaj’s “Favorite” f/ Jeremih [Republic Records] and Ne-Yo’s “Make It Easy” [Motown Records].

Camper’s resume includes further works for Mariah Carey [Epic Records], John Legend [Columbia Records], Tamar Braxton [Streamline Records], Elle Varner [RCA Records] and Mack Wilds [Larger Than Life Records].

Brandy’s sixth album, 2012’s “Two Eleven,” peaked to number three on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned two hit singles in the shape of “Put it Down” (featuring Chris Brown) and “Wildest Dreams.”

For her seventh studio collection, Brandy has recruited MBK Entertainment CEO Jeff Robinson as the executive producer. He is also overseeing the next projects by Justine Skye, Gabi Wilson, Tiara Thomas, and Daisha.

Other album contributors are Hit-Boy (Ciara, Selena Gomez), Diane Warren (Rita Ora, Kelly Rowland), Steve Mostyn (Usher, Jennifer Lopez), Kirby Lauryen (Beyonce, Ariana Grande) and Tiago Carvalho (Rihanna, Elijah Blake).

Grace announces details for debut EP “Memo”

Grace has announced the details for her upcoming debut EP.

The Australian singer and songwriter christened her first mini-collection “Memo” and will release it on May 26 via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

Current single “You Don’t Own Me” – which features G-Eazy – is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

Among the musicians backing Grace on “Memo” are Quincy Jones (Tamia, Michael Jackson), Diane Warren (Beyonce, Rita Ora), Parker Ighile (Rihanna, Jessie J) and Fraser T. Smith (Sam Smith, Ella Henderson).

Leona Lewis premieres music video for new single “Fire Under My Feet”

Leona Lewis - Fire Under My Feet

Leona Lewis has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The British singer and songwriter posted the visual clip for “Fire Under My Feet” to her Vevo channel on Monday (May 11, 2015).

“Fire Under My Feet” was written by Lewis along with Toby Gad, who is also responsible for Beyonce’s “If I Were a Boy” [Columbia], Jessie J’s “Who You Are” [Republic] and Demi Lovato’s “Skyscraper” [Hollywood].

The track marks the first promotional cut from Lewis’ upcoming fifth studio album, “I Am,” out soon on Island Records (UK) and Def Jam Recordings (US).

Other musicians backing Lewis on “I Am” are Jesse Shatkin (Sia, Kelly Clarkson), Becky Hill (Jojo, Conor Maynard), Mitch Allan (Zendaya, Selena Gomez), Diane Warren (Ciara, Toni Braxton) and Steve Booker (Fleur East, Pixie Lott).

Karen Harding hits the studio with Evan Bogart, Emanuel Kiriakou for debut album

British singer/songwriter Karen Harding has recorded new material with Evan “Kidd” Bogart and Emanuel Kiriakou for her upcoming debut album.

Bogart recently co-wrote “Ghosttown” for Madonna along with Jason Evigan and Sean Douglas. The Billboard-produced track is lifted from the artist’s latest album, “Rebel Heart,” out now via Interscope Records.

Meanwhile, Kiriakou’s production and songwriting resume includes works for Demi Lovato (“Let it Go”), Selena Gomez (“Who Says”), Bridgit Mendler (“Ready or Not”) and David Archuleta (“Crush”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Harding is expected to release her first studio collection later this year under Method Records and Capitol Records.

Lead single “Say Something” – featuring songwriting and production by fellow UK artist MNEK – peaked to number seven on the UK Singles Chart.

British singer/songwriter Karen Harding has drafted the songwriting services of Diane Warren for her upcoming debut album.

The legendary songwriter is known for her works with Toni Braxton (“Unbreak My Heart”), Christina Aguilera (“I Turn to You”), Beyonce (“I Was Here”) and Celine Dion (“Because You Loved Me”).

Furthermore, Warren has contributed to the next projects by Brandy [MBK Entertainment], Ciara [Epic], Leona Lewis [Island], Jojo [Atlantic],  Kelly Rowland [Def Jam] and Grace Sewell [RCA].

Meanwhile, Harding is expected to release her first studio collection later this year under Method Records in conjunction with Capitol Records.

Lead single “Say Something” is now available for download via iTunes. The MNEK-produced track peaked to number seven on the UK Singles Chart.

Leona Lewis has revealed new song titles from her upcoming album.

“I Am,” “I Got You,” “Ladders” and “Thank You” are slotted for inclusion on the British singer/songwriter’s fifth studio collection, which will be released later this year under Universal Music Group / Island Records.

Lead single “Fire” was written by Lewis along with Toby Gad, whose other credits include Madonna’s “Living for Love” [Interscope], John Legend’s “All of Me” [Columbia] and Demi Lovato’s “Skyscraper” [Hollywood].

Fans of Gad’s songwriting and production works should peep the next projects by Carly Rae Jepsen [Interscope], Tori Kelly [Capitol], Madison Beer [Island], Pixie Lott [Virgin EMI] and Becky Hill [Parlophone].

Meanwhile, the upcoming album by Lewis is confirmed to boast additional songwriting contributions from Diane Warren (Brandy, Toni Braxton), Autumn Rowe (Zendaya, Little Mix) and Anne Preven (Jordin Sparks, Katy Perry).

“Just wrote something a lil special with @frasertsmith1. Can’t wait for you guys to hear,” the singer/songwriter posted to her official Instagram account.

Smith is known for helming Adele’s “Set Fire to the Rain” [XL Recordings], Sam Smith’s “Not in that Way” [PMR / Capitol Records], Leona Lewis’ “Trouble” [Syco Music] and Britney Spears’ “Trouble for Me” [RCA Records].

The Grammy award winning songwriter and record producer also contributed to the next projects by Kwabs [Atlantic], Bipolar Sunshine [Polydor], Javeon [PMR], Karen Harding [Capitol], Bebe Rexha [Warner Bros] and Sigma [3 Beat].

Lead single “I Bet” – which was produced by Harmony “H-Money” Samuels and Chris “TEK” O’Ryan – is now available for download via iTunes.

“Jackie” serves as the follow-up to 2013’s “Ciara,” which peaked to number two on the US Albums Chart and spawned hit singles including the Mike WiLL Made It-produced “Body Party” and the Nicki Minaj-assisted “I’m Out.”

Other producers backing Ciara on “Jackie” are The Underdogs (Beyonce, Justin Timberlake), Dr. Luke (Tinashe, Britney Spears), Cirkut (Rihanna, Katy Perry), Polow Da Don (Fergie, Jamie Foxx) and Soundz (Usher, K. Michelle).
