Paloma Faith releases “Leave While I’m Not Looking” music video

Paloma Faith has released the music video for her new single online.

The British singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “Leave While I’m Not Looking” to her official Vevo page on Monday (September 08, 2014).

“Leave While I’m Not Looking” was penned by Diane Warren, who also teamed with the artist on hit single “Only Love Can Hurt Like This.”

Production duties on “Leave” were handled by AC Burrell and JL along with Komi, whose other credits include Naughty Boy’s “La La La” f/ Sam Smith [Virgin EMI] and Ella Henderson’s “Beautifully Unfinished” [Syco Music].

Faith’s latest album, “A Perfect Contradiction,” is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Sony Music Entertainment UK. The project also features previous singles “Can’t Rely on You” and “Trouble with My Baby.”

Brandy recruits Kirby Lauryen for new album

Brandy has recruited Kirby Lauryen for her upcoming seventh album.

Lauryen recently co-wrote “Break Your Heart Right Back” for Ariana Grande. The track is lifted from the artist’s sophomore album, “My Everything,” now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Republic Records.

Other notable credits by Lauryen include Keyshia Cole’s “She” [Interscope Records] and Jennifer Lopez’s “Let it Be Me” [Capitol Records].

Meanwhile, Brandy is expected to release her forthcoming studio collection next year. The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “Two Eleven,” which peaked at number three on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

MBK CEO Jeff Robinson will executive produce the highly-anticipated LP. He’s also overseeing the next releases by Elle Varner [RCA], Justine Skye [Atlantic], Daisha [Epic], Tiara Thomas [Interscope] and Gabi Wilson [RCA].

For the new album, Brandy has also teamed with songwriters and producers Swagg R’Celious, Diane Warren, Andrew “Pop” Wansel, Stacy Barthe, Ronald “Flip” Colson, Steve “Ace” Mostyn, and Warren “Oak” Felder.

Jojo has recruited James Fauntleroy for her upcoming third album.

Fauntleroy previously co-wrote “Blow” by Beyonce [Columbia Records], “Dedicated” by Mariah Carey [Def Jam Recordings], “Just Different” by Teyana Taylor [G.O.O.D Music] and “To Love & Die” by Jhene Aiko [ARTium Records].

His extensive resume also includes works for Rihanna [Roc Nation], Ciara [Epic Records], Rita Ora [Columbia Records], Leona Lewis [Island Records], Elijah Blake [Def Jam Recordings] and Sinead Harnett [Virgin EMI Records].

Meanwhile, Jojo is expected to release her next studio album during the first quarter of 2015 via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

The still-untitled project boasts further songwriting contributions from Marsha Ambrosius (RaVaughn, Elle Varner), Ina Wroldsen (Shakira, Britney Spears) and Diane Warren (Whitney Houston, Toni Braxton).

On the production front, the follow-up to 2006’s “The High Road” will yield collaborations with Da Internz (Usher, Sevyn Streeter), MNEK (Rudimental, Becky Hill) and Harmony Samuels (Jasmine Villegas, Ariana Grande).

Leona Lewis snags Leah McFall, Jim Eliot for new album

British singer/songwriter Leona Lewis has added Leah McFall and Jim Eliot to the list of contributors for her upcoming fifth album.

McFall was a runner-up on the second series of the BBC talent show The Voice. Her debut hit single “Home” was co-written and produced by will.i.am along with Jean Baptiste Kouame, Michael McHenry and Ryan “DJ Replay” Buendia.

Meanwhile, Eliot is known for co-writing and producing songs for the likes of Kylie Minogue (“All the Lovers”), Olly Murs (“Heart Skips a Beat”), Will Young (“Jealousy”) and Ellie Goulding (“Anything Could Happen”).

As previously reported, Lewis is expected to drop her new studio collection during the first quarter of 2015 via Universal Music Group / Island Records.

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2013’s “Christmas, With Love,” which peaked at number thirteen on the UK Albums Chart.

Rita Ora confirms new single “Testosterone”

Rita Ora has confirmed the title for her new single.

The singer/songwriter christened “Testosterone” as the second promotional cut from her upcoming as-yet-untitled sophomore album on Columbia Records.

“Testosterone” follows the Calvin Harris-produced “I Will Never Let You Down,” which peaked at number one on the UK Singles Chart.

Ora’s current release, the Diane Warren-penned “Grateful,” is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets. The track appears on the original motion picture soundtrack, “Beyond the Lights.”

For her highly-anticipated new LP, the “Radioactive” star teamed up with will.i.am (Ciara, Britney Spears), DJ Mustard (Omarion, Jhene Aiko), Tommy Brown (Nas, Ariana Grande) and Devonte Hynes (Tinashe, Sky Ferreira).

British singer/songwriter Leona Lewis has drafted Becky Hill and Toby Gad for her upcoming fifth album.

Hill’s songwriting resume include “Gecko (Overdrive)” by Oliver Heldens [Polydor Records] and “All I See” by Bondax f/ Tanya Lacey [Relentless Records]. Her current single “Losing” is now available for download via iTunes.

Meanwhile, Gad’s songwriting and / or production credits include “Holding On to Heaven” by Foxes [RCA Records], “I Wish You Were Here” by Colbie Caillat [Republic Records] and “All of Me” by John Legend [Columbia Records].

As previously reported, Lewis will release her next studio collection via Universal Music Group / Island Records. The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2013’s “Christmas, With Love,” which featured hit single “One More Sleep.”

Kelly Rowland debuts new song “Mommy’s Little Baby (A Lullaby)”

Kelly Rowland has debuted a new song online.

The singer/songwriter posted the audio clip for “Mommy’s Little Baby (A Lullaby)” to her official SoundCloud page on Monday (November 10, 2014).

“Mommy Little Baby (A Lullaby)” was produced by Verse Simmonds along with Brian Soko, Rasool Diaz and Andre Proctor of The Order, who are also responsible for Teyana Taylor’s “Maybe” and Tinashe’s “Pretend.”

Rowland’s last album, “Talk a Good Game,” peaked at number four on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart. It also delivered two hit singles in the shape of “Kisses Down Low” and “Dirty Laundry.”

In addition, she provided background vocals on Tank’s single “You’re My Star,” which is now available for download via iTunes.

Her next studio collection is expected to be released during the first quarter of 2015. The still-untitled project reportedly yields contributions from Christopher “Tricky” Stewart, Diane Warren, The-Dream, Bloodline and Dem Jointz.

Leona Lewis has added songwriter and record producer Wayne Wilkins to the list of contributors for her upcoming fifth studio album.

Wilkins previously co-wrote “Take a Bow” for Lewis along with Ryan “Alias” Tedder, Sam Watters and Louis Biancaniello.

More recent songwriting and production credits by Wilkins include Cheryl’s “Crazy Stupid Love” [Polydor Records], Neon Jungle’s “Can’t Stop the Love” [RCA Records] and Cassie Davis’ “No More” [Sony Music Australia].

Meanwhile, the highly-anticipated new album by Lewis is expected to be released in early 2015 via Universal Music Group / Island Records.

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2013’s “Christmas, with Love,” which peaked at number thirteen on the UK Albums Chart.

Jojo is working on music with new collaborator MNEK.

There’s currently no word on what the recording session was supposed to yield — new Jojo music, new MNEK material or a combination thereof.

MNEK recently co-wrote and / or produced “Losing” by Becky Hill [Parlophone], “Sing That Song” by TIEKS f/ Celeste [Atlantic], “All I See” by Bondax f/ Tanya Lacey [Relentless] and “Special” by Billon f/ Maxine Ashley [Virgin EMI].

His upcoming debut album – featuring singles “Every Little Word” and “Wrote a Song About You” – is scheduled for release in 2015 via iTunes in partnership with Virgin EMI Records (UK) and Cherrytree / Interscope Records (US).

Meanwhile, Jojo’s third studio collection with hit stores and digital outlets via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2006’s “The High Road,” which peaked at number two on the US Albums Chart and spawned the Billy Steinberg and Josh Alexander-produced hit single “Too Little, Too Late.”

Among the musicians backing Jojo on the highly-anticipated album are Harmony “H-Money” Samuels, Diane Warren, Andrew “Pop” Wansel, Marsha Ambrosius, Da Internz, Ruth-Anne Cunningham, and The Stereotypes.
