Melanie Fiona debuts music video for new single ‘Change the Record’

Melanie Fiona has unveiled the music video for her new single online.

“Change the Record” – which features B.O.B – is taken from the Canadian singer/songwriter’s sophomore album, “The MF Life,” out now via Universal Music Group / Street Records Corporation / Republic Records.

The track was co-written by Andrea Martin, whose credits include “Craziest Things” by Cheryl Cole [Universal Music Group / Polydor Records], “See Me Like This” by Stooshe [Warner Music Group / Future Cut Recordings] and “When It Hurts” by Leona Lewis [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records].

Production credits were handled by Carlos “L.O.S. Da Maestro” McKinney, who is also responsible for “Nobody’s Business” by Rihanna featuring Chris Brown [Universal Music Group / Island Def Jam Recordings], “Hey Sexy” by Keyshia Cole [Universal Music Group / Geffen Records] and “Schoolin’ Life” by Beyonce Knowles [Sony Music Entertainment / Columbia Records].

Ne-Yo-Forever-NowNe-Yo has premiered the music video for his new single online.

“Forever Now” marks the fourth promotional single from the American singer/songwriter’s fifth album, “R.E.D.,” which is available now via Universal Music Group / Compound Entertainment / Motown Records.

The follow-up to “Let Me Love You” was written by Shaffer “Ne-Yo” Smith along with Allen Arthur, Clayton Reilly, Keith Justice, Tor Erik Hermansen, Mikkel Storleer Eriksen, Paul Baumer and Maarten Hoogstraten. Meanwhile, production credits were handled by Stargate, Bingo Players and Phatboiz.

Marsha Ambrosius debuts new single ‘Cold War’ online

Marsha Ambrosius has debuted her new single online.

“Cold War” marks the first promotional single from the British singer/songwriter’s upcoming sophomore album, “Friends & Lovers,” which is scheduled for release in 2013 via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The track – available for download from December 11 – was written by Marsha Ambrosius along with Sean “Elijah Blake” Fenton and Thomas Wesley Pentz. Meanwhile, production credits were handled by Diplo and Picard Brothers.

“Friends & Lovers” serves as the follow-up to 2011’s “Late Nights & Early Mornings.” That release debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart. It also delivered three hit singles in the shape of “Hope She Cheats on You (With a Basketball Player),” “Far Away” and “Late Nights & Early Mornings.”

Rihanna has unveiled the official artwork for her new single online.

The Barbadian songstress has dubbed “Pour it Up” as the second promotional single from her seventh album, “Unapologetic,” which is available now via Universal Music Group / Island Def Jam Recordings.

The track was written by Timothy and Theron Thomas of Rock City, who previously collaborated with the artist on “Loud” single “Man Down.”

Production credits were handled by Michael “Mike WiLL Made It” Williams, who is also responsible for hit singles “Neva End” by Future featuring Kelly Rowland [Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records] and “Do You Know What You Have?” by Brandy [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records].

“Unapologetic” serves as the follow-up to 2011’s “Talk That Talk,” which debuted at number three on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart. It also delivered hit singles “We Found Love,” “You Da One” and “Where Have You Been.”

Nicole Scherzinger has confirmed the title of her new single.

“Boomerang” marks the first promotional single from the American singer/songwriter’s upcoming sophomore album, which will be released in 2013 via Universal Music Group / Interscope Records.

The still-untitled collection serves as the follow-up to 2011’s “Killer Love,” which debuted at number eight on the UK Albums Chart. It also boasted hit singles “Poison,” “Wet,” “Don’t Hold Your Breath,” “Right There” and “Try with Me.”

Songwriters and producers backing Scherzinger on the project are Toby Gad (Rihanna, Justin Bieber), Cathy Dennis (Britney Spears, Janet Jackson), William “will.i.am” Adams (Rita Ora, Justin Timberlake), Dallas Austin (Chris Brown, Kevin McCall), Shondrae “Bangladesh” Crawford (Marsha Ambrosius, Nicki Minaj) and Dwayne “Dem Jointz” Abernathy (Brandy, Christina Aguilera).

will.i.am has premiered the music video for his new single online.

“Scream and Shout” marks the fifth promotional single from American hip hop artist and record producer’s fourth album, “#willpower,” which is due in early 2013 via Universal Music Group / will.i.am Music Group / Interscope Records.

The track – which features Britney Spears – was written by William Adams along with Jeff “Basto!” Martens and Jean Baptiste Kouame, whose recent credits include “I’m Ready” by Tulisa Contostavlos [Universal Music Group / Island Records], “Breakfast (Syrup)” by Kreayshawn featuring 2 Chainz [Sony Music Entertainment / Columbia Records] and “The Boys” by Nicki Minaj featuring Cassie [Universal Music Group / Republic Records].

American singer/songwriter Lauriana Mae has added Stacy Barthe to the list of songwriters for her upcoming as-yet-untitled debut album, which will be released in 2013 via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

Recent songwriting credits by Barthe include “When It’s All Over” by Alicia Keys [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records], “Speak Ya Mind” by Estelle [Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records] and “Like I Love You” by Melanie Fiona [Universal Music Group / Republic Records].

She also teamed up with hitmakers John “Legend” Stephens, Andre “Dre” Lyon, Marcello “Cool” Valenzano, Chauncey “Hit-Boy” Hollis, Jamie XX, Andrew “Pop” Wansel, Warren “Oak” Felder, Nathaniel “Danja” Hills, Dwayne “Supa Dups” Chin-Quee, Dapo Tormiro, Andrew “Dru Brett” Harr, Jermaine “Mayne Zayne” Jackson, Fernando Garibay, Christopher Whitacre, Justin Henderson, Beau Dozier, William “will.i.am” Adams and Christopher “Tricky” Stewart.
