Bruno Mars has confirmed the details for his new single.

The American singer/songwriter – real name Peter Hernandez – will release “Moonshine” as the second promotional single from his upcoming sophomore album, “Unorthodox Jukebox,” which is due in the United States on December 11 via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

The follow-up to “Locked Out of Heaven” was written by Bruno Mars along with Philip Lawrence (Melanie Fiona, Cee Lo Green), Ari Levine (Mike Posner, Adam Lambert), Jeff Bhasker (Kanye West, Taylor Swift), Mark Ronson (Leona Lewis, Christina Aguilera) and Andrew Wyatt (Eric Benet, Kevin Michael).

“Unorthodox Jukebox” serves as the follow-up to 2010’s “Doo-Wops & Hooligans.” That release debuted at number three on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart. It also delivered four hit singles in the shape of “Just the Way You Are,” “Grenade,” “Marry You” and “The Lazy Song.”
