Fantasia Barrino unveils new single ‘Lose to Win’

Fantasia Barrino has debuted her new single online.

“Lose to Win” marks the lead single from the R&B artist’s upcoming fourth album, scheduled for release in 2013 via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The new collection serves as the follow-up to 2010’s “Back to Me.” That release debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart. It also spawned hit singles “Bittersweet,” “I’m Doin’ Me” and “Collard Greens & Cornbread.”

Among the songwriters and producers backing Fantasia on the still-untitled project are Harmony “H-Money” Samuels (Michelle Williams, Chris Brown), Joseph “Lonny” Bereal (Kelly Rowland, Sevyn Streeter) and Sean “Elijah Blake” Fenton (Marsha Ambrosius, Usher Raymond).

Dido unveils official lyric video for new single ‘Let Us Move On’ featuring Kendrick Lamar

Dido has unveiled the official lyric video for her new single.

“Let Us Move On” – which features Kendrick Lamar – will be included on the British singer/songwriter’s upcoming fourth album, “Girl Who Got Away,” due in March 2013 via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The track was produced by Jeff Bhasker, whose credits include “Just Give Me a Reason” by Pink [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records], “National Anthem” by Lana Del Rey [Universal Music Group / Interscope Records] and “Locked Out of Heaven” by Bruno Mars [Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records].

Corinne Bailey Rae drafts Chuck Harmony for new album

British singer/songwriter Corrine Bailey Rae has started the process of recording her upcoming third album.

Production on the still-untitled project is headed by Charles “Chuck Harmony” Harmon, whose recent credits include “Loud & Clear” by Olly Murs [Sony Music Entertainment / Syco Music / Epic Records], “Waiting is a Drug” by K’naan [Warner Music Group / A&M Records / Octone Records] and “Running” by Goapele [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records].

Meanwhile, the new collection by Rae serves as the follow-up to 2010’s “The Sea.” That release debuted at number seven on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart. It also delivered three hit singles in the shape of “I’d Do It All Again,” “Paris Nights / New York Mornings” and “Closer.”

“You (Ha Ha Ha)” is slotted for inclusion on the British singer/songwriter’s upcoming debut album with Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

As previously reported, the still-untitled project will boast alliances from Greg Kurstin (Sky Ferreira, Kylie Minogue), Ariel Rechtshaid (Justin Bieber, Usher Raymond), Shahid “Naughty Boy” Khan (Cheryl Cole, Leona Lewis), Uzoechi “MNEK” Emenike (Amelia Lily, The Wanted), Rick Nowels (Dido, Lana Del Rey) and Devonte “Blood Orange” Hynes (Solange Knowles, Florence Welch).

Trey Songz confirms new single ‘Fumble’

Trey Songz has confirmed the title of his new single.

The R&B singer/songwriter – real name Tremaine Neverson – will release “Fumble” as the fifth single from his latest album, “Chapter V,” now available in stores and online via Warner Music Group / Songbook / Atlantic Records.

“Fumble” was written by Tremaine Neverson along with Troy Taylor, Glenda Proby, Chuck Gibson, Tyrone Griffin, Alagy Sanneh and Nate Welch.

Production credits on the follow-up to “Never Again” were handled by Troy Taylor, Alagy “Buddah” Sanneh, Glenda “Lady G” Proby and Phonix Beats.

Alicia Keys premieres music video for new single ‘Brand New Me’

Alicia Keys - Brand New MeAlicia Keys has premiered the music video for her new single online.

“Brand New Me” is taken from the American singer/songwriter’s fifth album, “Girl on Fire,” out now via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The track was co-written Emeli Sande, who also teamed up with the artist on “Girl on Fire” tracks “101” and “Not Even the King.”

Other songwriting credits by Sande include “Half of Me” by Rihanna [Universal Music Group / Island Def Jam Recordings], “Trouble” by Leona Lewis [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records] and “Find a Boy” by A*M*E featuring Mic Righteous [Universal Music Group / Future Records].

British singer/songwriter Charli XCX has added Andrew Wyatt of Miike Snow for her upcoming as-yet-untitled debut album, which is due in early 2013 via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

Songwriting credits by Wyatt include “We All Want the Same Thing” by Kevin Michael [Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records], “Change” by Daniel Merriweather [Sony Music Entertainment / Columbia Records] and “When I Was Your Man” by Bruno Mars [Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records].
