Singer/songwriter Elle Varner has started work on her upcoming sophomore album, which serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “Perfectly Imperfect” [Sony Music Entertainment / MBK Entertainment / RCA Records].
Production on the still-untitled project is headed by frequent collaborators Warren “Oak” Felder (Marsha Ambrosius, Toni Braxton), Andrew “Pop” Wansel (Chris Brown, Usher Raymond), Ronny “Flip” Colson (Miley Cyrus, Wiz Khalifa) and Steve “Ace” Mostyn (Alicia Keys, Emeli Sande).
As previously reported, Varner has christened “Not Tonight” as the next single from “Perfectly Imperfect.” The album debuted at number four on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart. It also delivered hit singles “Only Wanna Give It to You” (featuring J. Cole), “Refill,” “I Don’t Care” and “Oh What a Night.”
