Lana Del Rey has been confirmed as one of the contributors on the upcoming motion picture soundtrack “The Great Gatsby.”

“Young and Beautiful” was written by Rey – real name Elizabeth Grant – along with legendary hitmaker Rick Nowels, who previously teamed up with the artist on singles “Summertime Sadness” and “Dark Paradise.”

Other songwriting and production credits by Nowels include “No Freedom” by Dido [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records], “What If” by Colbie Caillat [Universal Music Group / Republic Records] and “The World As I See It” by Jason Mraz [Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records].

Meanwhile, the “Video Games” singer is currently recording the follow-up to 2012’s “Born to Die” [Universal Music Group / Interscope Records]. That release debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart. It also spawned hit singles “Born to Die,” “Blue Jeans” and “National Anthem.”
