
Kylie Minogue has unveiled a new track online.
“Skirt” – produced by Chris Elliot and Marcos “Nom De Strip” Lys – is slotted for inclusion on the Australian singer/songwriter’s upcoming twelfth studio album, which is due later this year via Warner Music Group / Parlophone Records.
The track was co-written by Terius “The-Dream” Nash, whose recent credits include “Dirty Laundry” by Kelly Rowland [Universal Music Group / Republic Records], “Hello, Hi, Goodbye” by Rita Ora [Roc Nation / Columbia Records] and “Hey Sexy” by Keyshia Cole [Universal Music Group / Geffen Records].
He also confirmed placements on the next projects by Beyonce Knowles [Sony Music Entertainment / Parkwood Entertainment / Columbia Records], Mariah Carey [Universal Music Group / Island Def Jam Recordings] and Katharine McPhee [Sony Music Entertainment / Columbia Records].
Meanwhile, the still-untitled collection by Minogue is expected to boast further songwriting contributions from Sean “Elijah Blake” Fenton (Usher Raymond, Cassie Ventura), Bonnie McKee (Kelly Clarkson, Adam Lambert), Sia Furler (Rihanna, Christina Aguilera) and Kelly Sheehan (Nicki Minaj, Jason Derulo).
Producers include Ariel Rechtshaid (Solange Knowles, Charli XCX), Greg Kurstin (Dido Armstrong, Nicole Morier), Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins (Enrique Iglesias, Katharine McPhee), Fernando Garibay (Eva Simons, Priyanka Chopra) and Stargate: Tor Erik Hermansen & Mikkel Storleer Eriksen (Brandy, Lionel Richie).
