K. Michelle has delayed the release date for her upcoming debut album.
The singer/songwriter – real name Kimberly Pate – was originally scheduled to release her new collection “Rebellious Soul” on July 23, but now it will hit the shelves on August 13 via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.
The album is led by new single “V.S.O.P,” produced by Warren “Oak” Felder (Chrisette Michele, Sevyn Streeter) and Andrew “Pop” Wansel (Marsha Ambrosius, Usher Raymond).
Other musicians backing K. Michelle on “Rebellious Soul” are Eric Hudson (Brandy, Kanye West), Matthew “Jack Splash” Kahane (Melanie Fiona, Lauriana Mae) and Charles “Chuck Harmony” Harmon (Tamia, Jazmine Sullivan).
Songwriters include Jessyca Wilson (Fantasia Barrino, Keyshia Cole), Durrell “Tank” Babbs (LeToya Luckett, Toni Braxton) and Claude Kelly (Whitney Houston, Faith Evans).
