30 Jun

Camille Purcell has been enlisted for the upcoming as-yet-untitled sophomore album by Little Mix, which is scheduled for release later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / Simco Limited / Columbia Records.

The hit songwriter is known for co-writing “What About Us” by The Saturdays featuring Sean Paul [Universal Music Group / Polydor Records] and “Help Me” by Tinchy Stryder [Takeover Entertainment Limited].

She has collaborated with artists including Daniele Negroni [Polydor Records], Tim Bendzko [Columbia Records], Roll Deep [], Cover Drive [Polydor Records] and Dionne Bromfield [Island Records].

Meanwhile, the new collection by Little Mix serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “DNA.” That release debuted at number four on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart. It also delivered four hit singles in the shape of “Wings,” “DNA,” “Live Your Life” and “How Ya Doing (featuring Missy Elliot).”

In addition to Purcell, the highly-anticipated project will feature further contributions from TMS: Thomas “Froe” Barnes, Ben Kohn, Peter “Merf” Kelleher (Jessie J, Professor Green), Iain “Sparx” James (Olly Murs, Emeli Sande) and Uzoechi “MNEK” Emenike (Amelia Lily, Charli XCX).
