Michelle Williams has confirmed the title of her upcoming studio album.

The singer/songwriter has christened her next album “Journey to Freedom” and will release it later this year via eOne Music.

Lead single “If We Had Your Eyes” was produced by Harmony “H-Money” Samuels, whose credits include “I Like It” by Sevyn Streeter [CBE / Atlantic Records], “Lose to Win” by Fantasia Barrino [RCA Records] and “Gone” by Kelly Rowland featuring Wiz Khalifa [Republic Records].

He also contributed to the next albums by Keri Hilson [Interscope Records], Jordin Sparks [RCA Records], Ledisi [Verve Forecast Records], B Smyth [Motown Records] and Ariana Grande [Republic Records].

Meanwhile, the new collection by Michelle Williams serves as the follow-up to 2008’s “Unexpected” [Sony Music Entertainment / Columbia Records]. That release debuted at number 11 on the US Billboard Top R&B / Hip Hop Albums Chart. It also featured three hit singles in the shape of “We Break the Dawn,” “The Greatest” and “Hello Heartbreak.”
