Rihanna has teamed up with DJ Mustard for her upcoming 8th studio album, out soon via Universal Music Group / Island Def Jam Recordings.
The hitmaker – born Dijon McFarlane – is known for collaborating with the likes of Tyga [Republic Records], 2 Chainz [Def Jam Recordings], B.O.B [Grand Hustle Records], and Ty Dolla Sign [Atlantic Records].
Some of his recent credits include “Na Na” by Trey Songs [Atlantic Records], “Show Me” by Kid Ink f/ Chris Brown [RCA Records] and “Feelin’ Myself” by Will.i.am f/ Miley Cyrus and French Montana [Interscope Records].
The still-untitled collection by Rihanna serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “Unapologetic,” which delivered the Sia-penned “Diamonds,” the Mikky Ekko-assisted “Stay,” and the Mike WiLL Made It-produced “Pour It Up.”
In addition to DJ Mustard, Rihanna has also collaborated with hitmakers Anjulie Persaud (Icona Pop, Kylie Minogue), Nicky Romero (David Guetta, Calvin Harris) and Kelly Sheehan (Nicki Minaj, Beyonce Knowles).
