Ariana Grande has released the official lyric video for her new single online.
“Problem” – which features Iggy Azalea – marks the first promotional single from the pop artist’s upcoming as-yet-untitled sophomore album.
The track was co-written by Max Martin and Savan Kotecha, whose credits include Demi Lovato’s “Something We’re Not” [Hollywood Records] and One Direction’s “Happily” [Syco Music / Columbia Records].
Production duties were handled by Ilya Knocdown, who is also responsible for Cher Lloyd’s “I Wish” [Epic Records], Fifth Harmony’s “Me & My Girls” [Syco Music] and Mohombi’s “Miss Me” [Island Records].
As previously reported, the new album by Ariana Grande is scheduled to hit shelves and online outlets later this year via Republic Records.
It serves as the follow-up to 2013’s “Yours Truly,” which debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and produced hit singles including “The Way,” “Right There” and “Almost is Never Enough.”
