The upcoming third studio album by Keri Hilson is expected to feature collaborations with hitmakers Jim Jonsin and Rico Love.
The songwriting and production duo are responsible for singles “Motivation” by Kelly Rowland [Republic Records], “Sweet Dreams” by Beyonce [Columbia Records] and “Mr. Wrong” by Mary J. Blige [Geffen Records].
Rico Love previously co-wrote “Energy” for Keri Hilson along with Sam Watters and Louis Biancaniello. The track is lifted from the artist’s debut album, “In a Perfect World,” which debuted at number four on the US Albums Chart.
Meanwhile, recent production credits by Jonsin – born James Scheffer – are John Legend’s “A Million” [Columbia Records], A$AP Rocky’s “Long Live A$AP” [RCA Records] and Wiz Khalifa’s “Up In It” [Atlantic Records].
In addition to working on the follow-up to 2010’s “No Boys Allowed,” Hilson co-wrote “Passenger” for Candice Glover along with Planet VI’s Theron and Timothy Thomas. The Mike WiLL Made It-produced track appears on Glover’s debut album, “Music Speaks,” out now via Interscope Records.
