Katharine McPhee has hinted at a new collaboration with Ina Wroldsen.

Wroldsen is known for co-writing Shakira’s “Empires” [RCA Records], Madison Beer’s “Melodies” [Island Records], Cher Lloyd’s “Bind Your Love” [Epic Records] and James Arthur’s “Recovery” [Syco Music].

The Norwegian singer/songwriter’s extensive resume also includes works for Leona Lewis [Island Records], The Saturdays [Polydor Records], Britney Spears [RCA Records] and Little Mix [Columbia Records].

Meanwhile, Katharine McPhee is expected to release her new album later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / Columbia Records.

The still-untitled collection is said to feature productions and songwriting contributions from Linda Perry (Pink, Alicia Keys), Fernando Garibay (Lea Michele, Natalia Kills) and The-Dream (Rihanna, Kelly Rowland).
