Natasha Bedingfield has recorded a new song with Toby Gad and John Shanks.
Gad previously teamed up with Bedingfield on the Meleni Smith-penned “Happy,” meanwhile Shanks is known for co-writing and producing hit single “Pocketful of Sunshine” along with Natasha and Danielle Brisebois.
Recent songwriting and production credits by Shanks include Lea Michele’s “Empty Handed” [Columbia Records], Miley Cyrus’ “Maybe You’re Right” [RCA Records] and LeAnn Rimes’ “You’ve Ruined Me” [Curb Records].
Meanwhile, Gad has confirmed placements on the next albums by Madonna [Interscope Records], Colbie Caillat [Republic Records], Ella Henderson [Syco Music], Lauriana Mae [Atlantic Records] and Craig David [Universal Music].
Bedingfield is expected to release her upcoming studio collection later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records. The still-untitled LP serves as the follow-up to 2011’s “Strip Me Away.”
Among the songwriters and producers backing the “Unwritten” star on the new album are Mojam (Leona Lewis, Emeli Sande), Sia Furler (Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez) and Wayne Wilkins (Cheryl Cole, Keri Hilson).
