Jessie J has announced the details for the new single.
The British singer/songwriter – born Jessica Cornish – dubbed “Bang Bang” as the lead single from her upcoming third studio album.
The Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj-assisted track was co-written by Savan Kotecha, whose credits include Demi Lovato’s “Really Don’t Care” [Hollywood Records] and Fifth Harmony’s “Better Together” [Epic Records].
Production duties were handled by Max Martin and Ilya “Knocdown” Salmanzadeh, who are also responsible for Cher Lloyd’s “I Wish” [Epic Records] and Jennifer Lopez’s “First Love” [Capitol Records].
Jessie’s J’s highly-anticipated new collection is scheduled for release later this year via Universal Music Group / Lava Records / Republic Records.
It serves as the follow-up to 2013’s “Alive,” which debuted at number three on the UK Albums Chart and featured three hit singles in the shape of “Wild,” “It’s My Party” and “Thunder.”
