R&B songstress Monica has reunited with Missy Elliot for her upcoming studio album.

The pair previously teamed up on singles “A Dozen Roses (You Remind Me),” “Everything to Me,” “Until It’s Gone” and “Anything (To Find You).”

Elliot is also responsible for co-writing and producing Whitney Houston’s “Things You Say” [Arista Records], Fantasia’s “Free Yourself” [J Records] and Jazmine Sullivan’s “Need U Bad” [RCA Records].

The as-yet-untitled new album by Monica is expected to be released later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

It serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “New Life,” which debuted at number four on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.
