Joel Compass hits the studio with Autumn Rowe

30 Sep

Joel Compass is making new music with Autumn Rowe.

There’s been no word on what the pair worked on last night, or whether the session was intended for another artist or Compass’ debut album.

Rowe’s extensive resume includes works for Leona Lewis [Island Records], Tanika [Capitol Records], Sinead Harnett [Virgin EMI Records], One Direction [Columbia Records] and Rebecca Ferguson [Syco Music].

Some of her notable songwriting credits include “Sexy Love” by Kylie Minogue [Parlophone Records], “Only When You’re Close” by Zendaya [Hollywood Records] and “30 Days” by The Saturdays [Polydor Records].

Compass, meanwhile, is scheduled to release his first studio collection “Science” in early 2015 via Outsiders Recorded Music Limited / Polydor Records.

Current single “Girlfriends” – helmed by Compass, Nicola Roberts, Amanda Ghost and Miranda Cooper along with Jason Pebworth, George Astasio and Jon Shave of Invisible Men – is now available for download via iTunes (UK).

He also co-wrote and produced “Kicks” for FKA Twigs. The track appears on the British songbird’s debut album, “LP1,” out now via Yung Turks Recordings.
