Monica has recruited Timbaland for her upcoming album.

The super producer – born Timothy Mosley – is responsible for “Try Again” by Aaliyah [Blackground Records], “Who is She to You?” by Brandy [Atlantic Records] and “Drunk in Love” by Beyonce f/ Jay-Z [Columbia Records].

His extensive resume also includes works for Justin Timberlake [RCA Records], Rihanna [Roc Nation Records], Demi Lovato [Hollywood Records], Jason Derulo [Warner Bros. Records] and Drake [Republic Records].

Meanwhile, Monica’s next studio collection is expected to be released later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up 2012’s “New Life,” which peaked at number four on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

Other musicians backing the “Love All Over Me” star on the highly-anticipated LP are Nathaniel “Danja” Hills, Keri Hilson, Polow Da Don, Missy Elliot, Jermaine Dupri, Bryan Michael Cox, Warren Felder and Andrew Wansel.
