Deborah Cox has announced the details for her new single.

The Canadian singer/songwriter christened “Kinda Miss You” as the first promotional cut from her upcoming studio album.

“Kinda Miss You” was co-written by Epic recording artist Jessica Ashley, whose also co-responsible for Madison Beer’s hit single “Unbreakable.”

Production duties were handled by Khristopher Riddick-Tynes and Leon Thomas of The Rascals, who also worked with Ariana Grande (“Honeymoon Avenue”) and Jessica Mauboy (“Can I Get a Moment?”).

“Kinda Miss You” will be available for download from February 3 via Deco Recording Group / Primary Wave Music / BMG Rights Management.

Cox’s last album, 2008’s “The Promise,” peaked to number nine on the Canadian R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart and spawned hit single “Beautiful U R.”
