Ciara releases new single “I Bet”

Ciara has released her new single online.

“I Bet” – which marks the first promotional cut from the artist’s upcoming album “Jackie” – is now available for download via iTunes (US) in partnership with Sony Music Entertainment imprint Epic Records.

The track was co-written by siblings Royce and Theron Thomas of Rock City, who are also co-responsible for GRL’s “Lighthouse” [Kemosabe Records] and Fergie’s “L.A. Love (La La)” [Interscope Records].

Production duties on “I Bet” were handled by Harmony Samuels, whose resume includes further works for Tamar Braxton (“Let Me Know”), Jasmine V (“That’s Me Right There”) and Teyana Taylor (“Put Your Love On”).

Other musicians backing Ciara on “Jackie” include Polow Da Don (Monica, Keri Hilson), Soundz (Usher, K. Michelle), Mike WiLL Made It (Brandy, Mariah Carey), Dr. Luke (Rihanna, Nicki Minaj) and Cirkut (Azealia Banks, Katy Perry).

The highly-anticipated new album serves as the follow-up to 2013’s “Ciara,” which peaked to number two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned hit singles including “Body Party” and “Overdose.”

Ella Henderson reveals artwork for new single “Mirror Man”

Ella Henderson has revealed the official artwork for her new single.

“Mirror Man” is lifted from the British singer/songwriter’s debut album, “Chapter One,” now available for download via Syco Music.

The track was co-written by Laura “LP” Pergolizzi, whose resume includes works for Rihanna (“Cheers”), Rita Ora (“Shine Ya Light”), The Veronicas (“Lolita”), Cher Lloyd (“Human”) and Leona Lewis (“Fingerprint”).

Production duties were handled by Al Shux, who is also co-responsible for Lana Del Rey’s “Young and Beautiful” [Interscope Records], Elle Varner’s “Oh What a Night” [RCA Records] and Kwabs’ “Saved” [Atlantic Records].

Fans can expect the accompanying music video soon. It was filmed by famed director Colin Tilley, whose known for Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda” [Republic Records] and Ne-Yo’s “Coming with You” [Motown Records].

Kelly Clarkson unwraps “Heartbeat Song” lyric video

Kelly Clarkson has unveiled the lyric video for her new single online.

The singer/songwriter posted the lyric-based visual clip for “Heartbeat Song” to her official Vevo page on Monday (January 26, 2015).

“Heartbeat Song” – which was written by Kelly Clarkson along with Kara DioGuardi, Audra Mae, Jason Evigan and Mitch Allan – is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

Production duties on “Heartbeat Song” were handled by Greg Kurstin, whose resume also includes works for Beyonce (“Standing on the Sun”), Lana Del Rey (“Money Power Glory”) and Taylor Swift (“I Wish You Would”).

Clarkson’s next studio collection, “Piece by Piece,” will hit stores on March 3 via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The highly-anticipated LP follows 2013’s “Wrapped in Red,” which peaked to number three on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

Karen Harding releases debut single “Say Something”

Karen Harding has released her new single online.

“Say Something” is now available for download via iTunes (UK) in partnership with Method Records and Capitol Records.

The track was helmed by MNEK, whose other credits include Becky Hill’s “Losing” [Parlophone Records], Billon’s “Special” f/ Maxine Ashley [Virgin EMI Records] and TIEKS’ “Sing That Song” f/ Celeste [Atlantic Records].

He also confirmed further songwriting and production placements with Rudimental [Asylum Records], Jojo [Atlantic Records], Tamera Foster [Syco Music], Little Mix [Columbia Records] and Moko [Virgin EMI Records].

Meanwhile, Harding’s first studio collection is expected to be released later this year. The still-untitled LP reportedly boasts productions from Richard Stannard, Ash Howes, Mich “Cutfather” Hansen, Jonny Lattimer and Fred Ball.

On the songwriting front, Harding has teamed with Karen Poole, Autumn Rowe, Chelcee Grimes, Janee “Jin Jin” Bennett, Tom Aspaul and Bradford Ellis.

Jess Glynne unveils new single “Hold My Hand”

Jess Glynne has unveiled her new single online.

The British singer/songwriter posted the audio clip for “Hold My Hand” to her official SoundCloud page on Thursday (January 22, 2015).

“Hold My Hand” was co-written by Janee “Jin Jin” Bennett, whose resume includes works for Melissa Steel [Atlantic Records], Tamera Foster [Syco Music], Moko [Virgin EMI Records] and Little Mix [Columbia Records].

The track follows previous promotional cut, “Right Here,” which peaked to number six on the UK Singles Chart.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Glynne’s upcoming debut album is scheduled for release later this year via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

The still-untitled LP features further songwriting contributions from Andrea Martin (Jordin Sparks, Leona Lewis), Emeli Sande (Rihanna, Katy Perry), Babyface (Fantasia, Sevyn Streeter) and Jonny Coffer (Sam Smith, Gorgon City).

On the production front, Glynne has enlisted Fraser T. Smith (Bebe Rexha, Tori Kelly), Steve Mac (Lily Allen, Ella Henderson), Naughty Boy (Ed Sheeran, Wiz Khalifa) and The Rascals (Toni Braxton, Ariana Grande).

Tori Kelly has selected her new single.

The singer/songwriter dubbed “Nobody Love” as the first promotional cut from her upcoming debut album under Capitol Records.

“Nobody Love” was co-written by Savan Kotecha, whose recent credits include Ellie Goulding’s “Love Me Like You Do” [Republic Records], Jennifer Lopez’s “First Love” [Capitol Records] and Hilary Duff’s “All About You” [RCA Records].

Production duties on “Nobody Love” were handled by Max Martin, who is also responsible for Taylor Swift’s “Blank Page” [Big Machine Records] and Ariana Grande’s “Love Me Harder” f/ The Weeknd [Republic Records].

As mentioned in previous posts, Kelly’s keenly-awaited debut album is executive-produced by Scooter Braun. The music mogul will also oversee the next projects by Carly Rae Jepsen, Amber Riley, Madison Beer, Cody Simpson and Rixton.

Other musicians backing the “Dear No One” star on the still-untitled LP are Pharrell (Usher, Gwen Stefani), Fraser T. Smith (Adele, Sam Smith), Ed Sheeran (Labrinth, Jessie Ware) and Chuck Harmony (Rihanna, Mary J. Blige).

Elle Varner shares new song “Where Your Man Is”

Elle Varner has shared a new song online.

The singer/songwriter posted the audio clip for “Where Your Man Is” to her official SoundCloud page on Friday (January 23, 2015).

Production duties on “Where Your Man Is” were handled by Shama “Sak Pase” Joseph, who is also co-responsible for Tank’s “Thanking You” [Atlantic], Kid Ink’s “No Miracles” [RCA] and Jennifer Lopez’s “Emotions” [Capitol].

Varner’s sophomore album “Four Letter World” will hit stores and digital outlets later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The follow-up to 2012’s “Perfectly Imperfect” is executive-produced by Jeff Robinson, who’s also overseeing the next projects by Gabi Wilson [RCA], Justine Skye [Atlantic], Daisha [Epic], Tiara Thomas [Interscope] and Brandy [TBA].

Other hitmakers backing Varner on “Four Letter Word” are Da Internz (Usher, Jazmine Sullivan), Hit-Boy (Rihanna, Sevyn Streeter), Boi-1da (Tinashe, Kelly Rowland) and Darhyl “DJ” Camper (Stacy Barthe, Chris Brown).

On the songwriting front, Varner recently wrote “Personal” for Jessie J along with Jenna Andrews and William Wiik Larsen (Will IDAP). The track appears on the British artist’s latest album “Personal,” out now via Republic Records.

Further songwriting credits by the “Refill” star include Miguel’s “Use Me” [RCA Records] and Tanika’s “Run Away” [Tim & Danny Music / Capitol Records].
