Sinead Harnett has announced the title for her new single.
The British singer/songwriter christened “She Ain’t Me” as the first promotional cut from her upcoming debut album under Virgin EMI Records.
“She Ain’t Me” was co-written by Harnett along with Iain James, whose other credits include Little Mix’s “Wings” [Columbia Records], Craig David’s “Officially Yours” [Asylum Records] and Olly Murs’ “Hand On Heart” [Epic Records].
Production duties were handled by Peter Kelleher, Thomas Barnes and Benjamin Kohn of TMS, who are also responsible for The Vamps’ “Last Night” [Virgin EMI], Ella Henderson’s “Empire” [Syco] and Kwabs’ “Walk” [Atlantic].
Harnett’s first EP “N.O.W.” – featuring hit singles “No Other Way,” “High Wire” and “Paradise” – is now available for download via iTunes.
Meanwhile, her as-yet-untitled debut album will boast further contributions from Chris Loco (Emeli Sande, Kylie Minogue), Two Inch Punch (Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran), James Fauntleroy (Rihanna, Mariah Carey), Mojam (Leona Lewis, Conor Maynard) and Knox Brown (Jess Glynne, Mary J. Blige).
