Rita Ora - JDoe

Rita Ora has recorded new material with label mate J-Doe.

It is yet to be known whether their collaborative efforts were intended for Ora’s upcoming studio album or a future J-Doe release.

The rapper and songwriter – born James Smith – previously co-wrote Ariana Grande’s “Right There” [Republic Records], Jennifer Lopez’s “Acting Like That” f/ Iggy Azalea [Capitol Records] and Usher’s “Clueless” [RCA Records].

His resume includes further songwriting works for Tank (“You’re My Star”), Kelly Rowland (“Keep it Between Us”), Keyshia Cole (“No Complications”), Cassie (“Addiction”), Danity Kane (“Damaged”) and Sevyn Streeter (“nEXt”).

Meanwhile, Ora is scheduled to release her sophomore studio album later this year under Roc Nation and Columbia Records.

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “ORA,” which debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart and spawned hit singles including “R.I.P,” “How We Do (Party),” “Shine Ya Light” and “Radioactive.”

Songwriters backing Ora on the new CD are Priscilla Renea (Beyonce, Alicia Keys), Julia Michaels (Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato), Camille Purcell (Little Mix, Ella Henderson) and Justin Tranter (Kelly Clarkson, Nicole Scherzinger).
