Rita Ora has collaborated with Ed Sheeran for her upcoming second album.

During a recent interview with Noisey, the British songbird stated “I did this incredibly beautiful song with Ed about our friendship; he’s one of my best friends. It’s amazing having a friend in this industry of the opposite sex that you haven’t hooked up with. He’s such a legend. I respect him in so many ways.”

Sheeran previously co-wrote songs for other artists including Jessie Ware (“Say You Love Me”), Hilary Duff (“Tattoo”), Rixton (“Hotel Ceiling”) and Tori Kelly (“I Was Made for Loving You”).

His latest album “x” – featuring hit singles “Sing,” “Don’t,” “Thinking Out Loud,” “Photograph” and “Bloodstream” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

Meanwhile, Ora’s sophomore studio collection will hit stores and digital outlets later this year under Roc Nation and Columbia Records.

The still-untitled project is preceded by new single “Poison,” which was written by Kate Nash along with Julia Michaels (Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato) and Nolan “Sir Nolan” Lambroza (Justin Bieber, Nick Jonas).

Other musicians backing Ora on the highly-anticipated new album are Dr. Luke (Ne-Yo, Katy Perry), Diplo (Usher, Britney Spears), Devonte Hynes (Tinashe, Carly Rae Jepsen) and DJ Mustard (Omarion, Charli XCX).
