Singer and songwriter Keyshia Cole has drafted Denisia “Blu June” Andrews for her upcoming seventh album.

Blu June is known for co-writing Rihanna’s “Love Song” f/ Future [Def Jam Recordings], Ariana Grande’s “Best Mistake” f/ Big Sean [Republic Records] and Mariah Carey’s “Thirsty” [Def Jam Recordings].

Furthermore, June has collaborated with top producers including Chauncey “Hit-Boy” Hollis (Frank Ocean, Kelly Rowland), Mike WiLL Made It (Miley Cyrus, LeToya Luckett) and Dwane “Key Wane” Weir (Beyonce, Jhene Aiko).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Cole is expected to release her new studio collection later this year.

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2014’s “Point of No Return,” which peaked to number nine on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Rick James,” “She” and “Love Letter.”
