Lorde has hinted at a new collaboration with Disclosure.
“Making tunes and getting Oreo milkshakes with @disclosure,” the New Zealand singer and songwriter tweeted on Wednesday (June 10, 2015).
It is yet to be known whether the results of this collaboration are intended for a future Disclosure release of Lorde’s upcoming sophomore album.
The British electronic music duo – consisting of siblings Guy and Howard Lawrence – have previously collaborated with artists including Sam Smith, Mary J. Blige, AlunaGeorge, Eliza Doolittle, Jessie Ware, and Sinead Harnett.
Their second album “Caracal” – featuring the Gregory Portman-assisted lead single “Holding On” – is scheduled for hit stores and digital outlets on September 25 through PMR Records and Island Records.
Meanwhile, Lorde is expected to release her next studio collection later this year under Lava Records and Republic Records.
The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2013’s “Pure Heroine,” which peaked to number three on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and delivered hit singles including “Royals,” “Tennis Court” and “Team.”
