Laura Welsh has debuted a new song online.
The British singer/songwriter posted the audio clip for “Sex & Violence” to her SoundCloud channel on Wednesday (October 21, 2015).
Welsh co-wrote “Sex & Violence” with fellow UK artist Fiona Bevan, whose resume includes further works with Ed Sheeran [Atlantic], One Direction [Columbia], Ben Haenow [Syco] and 5 Seconds of Summer [Capitol].
The track is also slotted for inclusion on Welsh’s upcoming sophomore album, which will be released next year through Polydor Records.
Welsh previously provided vocals on “Here for You” by Gorgon City. The MNEK-assisted track peaked to number seven on the UK Singles Chart.
Her first studio collection “Soft Control” – featuring singles “Cold Front,” “Break the Fall” and “Ghosts” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Amanda Ghost’s label Outsiders Recorded Music Limited.
