Izzy Bizu shares “What Makes You Happy” live performance

Izzy Bizu has shared a new performance video online.

The live version of “What Makes You Happy” has been posted to Vevo dscvr’s channel on Tuesday (December 22, 2015).

“What Makes You Happy” was co-written by Ian Barter, who also worked with the likes of Lena (“In the Light”), Alex Hepburn (“Woman”), Kate Ceberano (“Have it All”), and Casey Abrams (“Wore Out My Soul”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Bizu is scheduled to release her first studio collection “A Moment of Madness” – featuring singles “White Tiger” and “Give Me Love” – on May 27, 2016 through Epic Records.

Other album contributors include Adam Argyle (Ella Eyre), Justin Broad (Raleigh Ritchie), Luke Juby (Emeli Sande), Jimmy Hogarth (Sia), Paul Herman (Corinne Bailey Rae) and Johnathan Lipsey (Kylie Minogue).

Majid Jordan premieres “Something About You” music video

Majid Jordan have premiered the music video for their new single online.

The Canadian duo posted the Common Good-directed clip for “Something About You” to their YouTube channel on Tuesday (December 23, 2015).

Production duties on “Something About You” were handled by group members Majid Al Maskati and Jordan Ullman along with Illangelo, whose credits include Tinashe’s “Party Favors” [RCA] and The Weeknd’s “The Hills” [Republic].

Majid Jordan’s debut album – featuring the Drake-assisted lead single “My Love” – is scheduled to hit stores and online outlets on February 5, 2016 through iTunes in partnership with OVO Sound and Warner Bros Records.

Other contributors on the self-title studio collection are Noah “40” Shebib (Alicia Keys), Jenna Andrews (Tori Kelly), Boi-1da (Chris Brown), Ilsey Juber (K. Michelle), Nineteen85 (Elle Varner), and Vinylz (Jamie Foxx).

Frances shares “Set Sail” acoustic performance

Frances has shared a new performance video online.

The British singer/songwriter – real name Sophie Cooke – posted the acoustic rendition of “Set Sail” to her Vevo channel on Tuesday (December 22, 2015).

“Set Sail” was co-written by Wayne Hector, whose other credits include Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Your Type” [Interscope], Jess Glynne’s “Take Me Home” [Atlantic], and Ella Eyre’s “Alone Too” [Virgin EMI].

Frances’ first mini-collection “Let It Out” – featuring “Eye of the Storm” and the Pomo-assisted “I Care” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Method Records and Capitol Records.

The EP boasts further productions and songwriting contributions from Jonny Lattimer (Kwabs, Ellie Goulding), Two Inch Punch (Anne-Marie, Sam Smith), and Jimmy Napes (Alicia Keys, Jessie Ware).

Birdy announces new single “Keeping Your Head Up”

Birdy has announced the details for her new single.

The British singer/songwriter christened “Keeping Your Head Up” as the second promotional cut from her upcoming third album and will release it on January 1, 2016 via iTunes in partnership with Atlantic Records.

For the still-untitled studio collection, Birdy has teamed up with Jamie Scott (One Direction), Sam Romans (John Legend), Wayne Hector (Ella Eyre), Jimmy Napes (Sam Smith) and Jonny Coffer (Emeli Sande).

Her last studio collection, 2013’s “Fire Within,” debuted at number eight on the UK Albums Chart and spawned four singles in the shape of “Wings,” “No Angels,” “Light Me Up” and “Words as Weapons.”

Foxes shares artwork for new album “All I Need”

Foxes has shared the artwork for her upcoming sophomore album.

The British singer/songwriter – real name Louisa Allen – is scheduled to release “All I Need” on February 5, 2016 through Sign of the Times Records (UK) and RCA Records (US).

Current single “Amazing” – out now via iTunes – was co-written by Jonny Lattimer (Kwabs, Sinead Harnett), James Newman (Rudimental, Ella Eyre), and Martin Brammer (Olly Murs, James Bay).

Other album contributors include Rick Nowels (Craig David), Jonas Quant (Leona Lewis), Babyface (Mariah Carey), Jim Eliot (Kylie Minogue), Kid Harpoon (Jessie Ware), and Jesse Shatkin (Kelly Clarkson).

Foxes’ debut studio collection, 2014’s “Glorious,” debuted at number five on the UK Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Let Go for Tonight” and “Holding On to Heaven.”

Ella Henderson taps Cass Lowe for sophomore album

Ella Henderson has added Cass Lowe to the list of contributors for her sophomore album.

Lowe recently co-wrote and co-produced “All My Friends” for electronic music duo Snakehips. The track – which features Tinashe and Chance the Rapper – is now available for download via iTunes and all other online outlets.

His resume includes further works with AlunaGeorge [Island], Melissa Steel [Atlantic], David Guetta [Parlophone], Sinead Harnett [Virgin EMI], Cheryl [Polydor], and KStewart [Warner Bros].

Meanwhile, Henderson is scheduled to release her second studio collection next year through Simon Cowell’s Sony imprint Syco Music.

The still-untitled project reportedly features additional alliances with Camille Purcell (Rita Ora), Maegan Cottone (Little Mix), Sam Romans (Alicia Keys), Josh Record (Karen Harding), and JHart (Fleur East).

Henderson’s debut album, “Chapter One,” topped the UK Albums Chart and spawned singles “Ghost,” “Glow,” “Yours,” and “Mirror Man.”

Elliphant confirms details for new album “Living Life Golden”

Elliphant has confirmed the details for her upcoming album.

The Swedish singer/songwriter christened her next studio collection “Living Life Golden” and will release it on March 25, 2016 through Kemosabe Records.

Current single “Step Down” – out now via iTunes – was co-written and produced by Joel Little, who also worked with the likes of Lorde (“Royals”), Sam Smith (“Reminds Me of You”), and Ellie Goulding (“The Greatest”).

Other musicians backing Elliphant on “Living Life Golden” are Dr. Luke (Katy Perry), Cirkut (The Weeknd), Rock City (Ciara), Diplo (Madonna), Skrillex (Justin Bieber), and Dave Sitek (Lion Babe).
