Melissa Steel has recorded new material with Fraser T. Smith.

The Grammy award winning record producer and songwriter recently co-penned “Feels Like Home” for British drum and bass duo Sigma. The Ina Wroldsen-assisted track appears on Sigma’s debut album, “Life,” now available for download via iTunes in partnership with 3Beat Music.

Smith’s extensive resume include further works with Adele (“Set Fire to the Rain”), James Morrison (“Broken Strings”), Sam Smith (“Drowning Shadows”), Leona Lewis (“Come Alive”), and Birdy (“Standing in the Way of the Light”).

Meanwhile, Steel is expected to release her first studio collection – featuring singles “Kisses for Breakfast” and “You Love Me?” – later this year through Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

The still-untitled project delivers alliances with Dallas Austin (Madonna), Cass Lowe (Tinashe), Rodney Jerkins (Ciara), Harmony Samuels (Brandy), Knox Brown (Usher), Di Genius (Ne-Yo), and Chris Loco (Emeli Sande).
