Britney Spears has registered a new song title with ASCAP – The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers.

“Man on the Moon” was written by Columbia recording artist Phoebe Ryan along with Ilsey Juber (Beyonce), Sterling Fox (Adam Lambert), Marcos Lomax (Fifth Harmony) and Jason Evigan (Jon Bellion).

The track is slotted for inclusion on Spears’ upcoming ninth album and follow-up to 2013’s “Britney Jean,” which peaked to number four on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles “Work Bitch” and “Perfume.”

For the still-untitled project, Spears also teamed up with Ian Kirkpatrick, Simon Wilcox, DJ Mustard, Chantal Kreviazuk, Alex Da Kid, Justin Tranter, CJ Baran, Nick Monson, Julia Michaels, Robopop, and Carla Marie Williams.

Current single “Make Me” – available for download from May 20 via iTunes – was co-written by Mischke Butler (Tinashe Austin Mahone) and produced by BURNS (Charli XCX, Louisa Johnson).
