Kelela has enlisted the songwriting and production services of Talay Riley and Clams Casino for her upcoming debut album.

Clams Casino – real name Michael Volpe – is known for his production credits with Pia Mia (“Fight for You”), Blood Orange (“No Right Thing”), Mikky Ekko (“Pull Me Down”), FKA twigs (“Hours”), Jhene Aiko (“W.A.Y.S.”), A$AP Ferg (“Beautiful People”) and The Weeknd (“The Fall”).

Meanwhile, Riley previously co-wrote “All the Way Down” for Kelela along with Tinashe, Jess Glynne, Jeremiah “Nugget” Raisen and the song’s producer Dacoury “DJ Dahi” Natche.

Riley’s songwriting resume boasts further works with Dua Lipa (“Last Dance”), Jason Derulo (“If it Ain’t Love”), Nick Jonas (“Levels”), Austin Mahone (“Dirty Work”) and Jessie J (“Who’s Laughing Now”).

Kelela, on the other hand, is expected to release her first studio collection later this year through Cherry Coffee Music and Warp Records.

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2013’s mixtape “Cut 4 Me” and 2015’s EP “Hallucinogen” and will be executive-produced by Ariel Rechtshaid.
