Lea Michele - Louder

Lea Michele has reunited with John Shanks for her sophomore album.

Shanks previously produced and co-penned “Empty Handed” for Michele along with David Hodges and Atlantic recording artist Christina Perri.

His resume boasts further works with Michelle Branch (“All You Wanted”), Ashlee Simpson (“Pieces of Me”), Hilary Duff (“Come Clean”), Alanis Morissette (“Everything”), Kelly Clarkson (“Breakaway”), Natasha Bedingfield (“Pocketful of Sunshine”), Leona Lewis (“Alive”) and Miley Cyrus (“The Climb”).

Meanwhile, Michele will release her second studio collection later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / Columbia Records.

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2014’s “Louder,” which debuted at number four on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned two singles in the shape of “Cannonball” and “On My Way.”

For the new album, Michele also teamed up with producers and songwriters Toby Gad (John Legend), Diane Warren (Mariah Carey), Ali Tamposi (Beyonce), Wrabel (Ellie Goulding) and Matt Rad (One Direction).
