Katy Perry has debuted her new single online.
The singer-songwriter posted the promotional visual clip for “Rise” to her Vevo channel on Friday (July 15, 2016).
“Rise” – which was created as an anthem for the 2016 Summer Olympics – is now available for streaming on Apple Music and for download via iTunes.
The track was co-written by Savan Kotecha (Ariana Grande, Tori Kelly), Ali Payami (Taylor Swift, Ellie Goulding) and Max Martin (Tinashe, Nick Jonas).
As mentioned in earlier posts, Perry’s upcoming studio collection is expected to be released later this year via Capitol Records.
The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2013’s “Prism,” which debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 Albums and spawned singles including “Roar,” “Unconditional” and “Dark Horse.”
