Betty Who has written a new song with Phoebe Ryan.
“POOL PARTIES W PHOEBE BUT ALSO WE WROTE A SONG,” the Australian singer-songwriter posted to her Instagram account.
Ryan previously co-wrote Melanie Martinez’s “Teddy Bear” [Atlantic Records] and Bea Miller’s “Young Blood” [Syco Music / Hollywood Records].
She also co-penned “Man on the Moon” for Britney Spears along with Ilsey Juber, Sterling Fox, Marcus Lomax, and Jason Evigan. The track is slotted for inclusion on Spears’ ninth LP, “Glory,” out on August 26 via RCA Records.
Ryan’s upcoming debut project – featuring singles “Chronic,” “Boyz n Poizn” and “Dollar Bill” – is expected to arrive later this year via Columbia Records.
Betty Who, on the other hand, is currently working on sophomore studio collection and follow-up to 2014’s “Take Me When You Go.”
The still-untitled RCA project reportedly delivers productions from Toby Gad (John Legend), Robopop (Charli XCX), MSTR ROGERS (Ella Eyre), Martin Johnson (Avril Lavigne), and Pop & Oak (Kehlani).
On the songwriting front, Betty Who has teamed up with Simon Wilcox (Demi Lovato), Priscilla Renea (Nick Jonas), Fransisca Hall (Selena Gomez), Wrabel (Ellie Goulding), and Justin Tranter (Fifth Harmony).
