Imani Williams has added Richard Stannard for her upcoming debut album.
“I loved working with @imaniofficial & @LaconicUK yesterday. She’s a doll and has the best ring tone I’ve ever heard,” the British record producer and songwriter tweeted on Friday (August 12, 2016).
Stannard recently helmed songs for Medina (“We Survive”), Will Young (“Dare”), Kylie Minogue (“100 Degrees”), Ella Henderson (“Billie Holiday”), Sam Bailey (“Treasure”), and 5 Seconds of Summer (“18”).
His extensive resume boasts further works with Spice Girls (“Wannabe”), Leona Lewis (“One More Sleep”), Gabrielle (“Falling”), Ellie Goulding (“Lights”), James Arthur (“Lie Down”), and Little Mix (“These Four Walls”).
Williams, on the other hand, is expected to release her first studio project later this year through Sony Music Entertainment UK.
Lead single “Don’t Need No Money” – featuring the song’s producers Sigala and Blonde – is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets.
Other musicians backing Williams on the still-untitled project are TMS, Ali Tennant, Electric, Joy Deb, Michael Angelo, Chelcee Grimes, Bless Beats, Tre Jean-Marie, Becky Hill, Red Triangle, Natasha Bedingfield, and Parker Ighile.
