Alicia Keys hits the studio with Charlie Puth

Alicia Keys has recorded new music for Charlie Puth.

It is yet to be known whether the session was intended for a future Puth release or Keys’ upcoming sixth studio collection.

Puth previously co-wrote / produced songs for Trey Songz (“Slow Motion”), Jason Derulo (“Broke”), CeeLo Green (“Working Class Heroes”), Thomas Rhett (“I Feel Good”), and Bonnie McKee (“Bombastic”).

He also contributed to the next projects by Fergie [Interscope], Zara Larsson [Epic], Kehlani [Atlantic], and Pia Mia [Interscope].

His forthcoming sophomore album, which serves as the follow-up to 2016’s “Nine Track Mind,” reportedly boasts productions and songwriting contributions from Ammar Malik, Ilsey Juber, Eskeerdo, and Toby Gad.

Keys, on the other hand, will release her next studio collection – featuring singles “In Common” and “Hallelujah” – later this year through RCA Records.

Amongst the confirmed collaborators on the still-untitled project are Illangelo, Billy Walsh, Taylor Parks, Harold Lilly, Mark Batson, Sam Romans, Jimmy Napes, Sam Dew, Mike Dean, and Swizz Beatz.

Keys’ previous studio collection, 2012’s “Girl on Fire,” debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles including “New Day,” “Tears Always Win” and “Brand New Me.”
