Naughty Boy has announced the details for his new single.

The British record producer and songwriter  – real name Shahid Khan – christened “Should’ve Been Me” as the next promotional cut from his upcoming sophomore album.

“Should’ve Been Me” – featuring Kyla and Popcaan – was co-written by Emily Warren (Ava Lily, Becky Hill) and Scott Harris (Melanie Martinez, Shawn Mendes) along with the song’s co-producers Mustafa Omer and James Murray of Mojam (Emeli Sande, James Arthur).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Naughty Boy’s second studio collection – featuring lead single “Runnin’ (Lose it All)” – is expected to arrive later this year via Universal Music Group / Virgin EMI Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly boasts further guest appearances and songwriting contributions from Bibi Bourelly, Marsha Ambrosius, Elle Eyre, Mike Posner, Kiesza, Miguel, DNCE, Sam Romans, and Dallas Austin.
