Sam Smith records new music with Cass Lowe

Sam Smith has recorded new music with Cass Lowe.

The British hitmaker is known for his works with AlunaGeorge (“I Remember”), Snakehips (“All My Friends”), Fifth Harmony (“Scared of Happy”), Blonde (“All Cried Out”), Shola Ama (“Boyfriend”), Hey Violet (“Pure”), Cheryl (“Coming Up for Air”) and Sinead Harnett (“Anywhere But Here”).

Lowe’s extensive songwriting and production resume boasts additional alliances with Alex Aiono, Ella Henderson, Anne-Marie, Bridgit Mendler, Astrid S, Charli XCX, David Guetta, Clean Bandit, Diztortion, MØ, Stanaj, and Tinashe.

Meanwhile, Smith is expected to release his sophomore studio collection in 2017 via Method Records and Capitol Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers further contributions from Jimmy Napes (Madonna, Ellie Goulding), Malay (Tori Kelly, John Legend), Levi Lennox (Miguel, Becky Hill), Mark Taylor (Enrique Iglesias, Kylie Minogue).

Smith’s first studio collection, 2014’s “In the Lonely Hour,” debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Stay With Me” and “I’m Not the Only One.”
