Emeli Sande has announced the details for her new single.

The Scottish singer-songwriter christened “Breathing Underwater” as the third promotional cut from her upcoming studio collection, “Long Live the Angels,” and will release it on October 28 via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Production duties on “Breathing Underwater” were handled by regular collaborator, Chris Loco, who also teamed up with Sande on “Garden,” “Somebody,” “Babe,” “Give Me Something” and “Easier in Bed.”

His extensive resume boasts further works with Etta Bond (“All of My Love”), Justine Skye (“U Don’t Know”), Katharine McPhee (“Only One”), Ella Eyre (“Gravity”) and Sinead Harnett (“Rather Be With You”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Sande’s second album “Long Live the Angels” – featuring lead single “Hurts” – will arrive on November 11 via Universal Music Group / Virgin EMI Records.

The follow-up to 2012’s “Our Version of Events” boasts further productions and songwriting contributions from Mac & Phil, Shakil Ashraf, TMS, Wayne Hector, Jonny Coffer, Mojam, Philip Plested, and Naughty Boy.
