John Legend has confirmed song titles from his upcoming studio collection.
“I Know Better,” “Penthouse Floor” (featuring Chance the Rapper), “That’s How You Do Me,” “Overload” (featuring Miguel), “Surefire” and “Right By You” are slotted for inclusion on Legend’s next album, “Darkness and Light.”
Lead single “Love Me Now” – which was produced by Blake Mills and John Henry Ryan – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.
Other producers backing Legend on “Love and Darkness” are Greg Kurstin (Adele), Malay (Sam Smith), Jonathan Rotem (Usher), RoccStar (Jennifer Lopez), Stephan Moccio (The Weeknd) and Alex Da Kid (Rihanna).
On the songwriting front, Legend has reportedly teamed up with Joel Compass (FKA twigs), Sean Garrett (Beyonce), Andrew Jackson (The Chainsmokers), Sam Romans (Alicia Keys), and Hayley Warner (Jessica Simpson).
Legend’s last collection, 2013’s “Love in the Future,” debuted at number four on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned hit singles including “Who Do We Think We Are,” “All of Me” and “You & I (Nobody in the World).”
