K. Michelle has enlisted Soulshock & Karlin for her upcoming fourth album.
The Danish production and songwriting duo – composed of Carsten Schack and Kenneth Karlin – are known for their works with Whitney Houston (“Heartbreak Hotel”), Monica (“Before You Walk Out of My Life”), Toni Braxton (“I Love Me Some Him”) and Jojo (“Leave Get Out”).
Their extensive resume boasts further works with Destiny’s Child (“Dance With Me”), Keyshia Cole (“Fallin’ Out”), 702 (“You Don’t Know”), Kelly Rowland (“Still in Love With My Ex”), Solange (“Sandcastle Disco”), Nicole Scherzinger (“Try With Me”) and Bruno Mars (“Take the Long Way Home”).
Meanwhile, K. Michelle is currently putting the final touches on her next studio collection under Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.
The still-untitled project reportedly delivers additional alliances with Bianca “Blush” Atterberry (Meghan Trainor), Rosina “Soaky Siren” Russell (Rita Ora), Sevyn Streeter (Ariana Grande), Mike Dupree (Trey Songz), Lovy Longomba (Gwen Stefani) and Kam Parker (Tamar Braxton).
K. Michelle’s previous studio collection, “More Issues Than Vogue,” debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned collaborations with Danja (“If It Ain’t Love”), Priscilla Renea (“Time”), Jesse “Corparal” Wilson (“All I Got”) and Pop & Oak (“Sleep Like a Baby”).
