Mabel has drafted Negin Djafari and Tre Jean-Marie for her debut album.
Djafari’s recent songwriting credits include Fifth Harmony’s “Not That Kinda Girl” [Syco Music / Epic Records], Rebecca Ferguson’s “Superwoman” [Simco / RCA] and James Arthur’s “Can I Be Him?” [Sony Music].
Meanwhile, Jean Marie recently co-wrote/produced seven songs on Craig David’s latest album “Following My Intuition” including “Couldn’t Be Mine,” “One More Time,” “What If,” “Don’t Go,” “Here with Me,” and “Sink or Swim.”
Mabel, on the other hand, is scheduled to release her first studio collection – featuring singles “Know Me Better,” “My Boy My Town” and “Thinking of You” – in 2017 via Universal Music Group / Polydor Records.
The still-untitled project reportedly delivers additional alliances with Marlon Roudette, Jean Baptiste Kouame, Kid Harpoon, Jin Jin, Bless Beats, Joel Compass, DJ Freedo, Two Inch Punch, and Crada.
