RedOne, born Nadir Al-Khayat, is a Moroccan Swedish record producer, singer-songwriter, and record executive.

The Grammy Award winning hitmaker has worked with many high profile recording artists, most notably Lady Gaga (“Bad Romance”), Nicki Minaj (“Starships”), Jennifer Lopez (“One the Floor”), Nicole Scherzinger (“Poison”), Kelly Rowland (“Down for Whatever”), Brandy (“True”), Alexandra Burke (“Broken Heels”), Usher (“More”) and Enrique Iglesias (“Takin’ Back My Love”).

Amongst the musicians RedOne frequently collaborates with are Novel Janussi, Ameerah “Astrid” Roelants, Rachid “Rush” Aziz, Achraf “AJ” Janussi, Kinda Hamid, Jimmy “Jimmy Joker” Thornfeldt, Bilal “The Chef” Hajji, Jakke Erixson, Claude Kelly, Angela Hunte, Savan Kotecha, Jenna Andrews, David “DQ” Quinones, and Martin “Cherry Cherry Boom Boom” Kierszenbaum.

Rock City is an American songwriting and production duo, composed of siblings Theron and Timothy Thomas, who have also released music under the namesakes R. City and Planet VI.

Their debut album, 2015’s “What Dreams Are Made Of,” peaked to number twenty-five on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned smash worldwide hit “Locked Away” featuring Adam Levine.

The Thomas brothers have also written and produced for several prominent artists, including Miley Cyrus (“We Can’t Stop”), Nicki Minaj (“Only”), Rihanna (“Pour It Up”), Kelly Rowland (“Kisses Down Low”), Usher (“I Don’t Mind”), Ariana Grande (“Be My Baby”), Jennifer Lopez (“Ain’t Your Mama”), Nicole Scherzinger (“Super Villain”) and Beyoncé (“All Night”).

Kehlani confirms title for debut album

Kehlani has confirmed the title for her upcoming debut album.

The singer-songwriter christened her first studio collection “SWEETSEXYSAVAGE” and will release it in early 2017 via Atlantic Records.

Amongst the tracks slotted for inclusion on the highly-anticipated project are “CRZY,” “Distraction,” “Did I,” “24/7” and “FWU.”

“SWEETSEXYSAVAGE” is also confirmed to boast alliances with NOVA WAV (Chloe x Halle, Britney Spears), Warren “Oak” Felder (Rihanna, Liam Payne) and Andrew “Pop” Wansel (Usher, Nicki Minaj).

Furthermore, Kehlani has reportedly teamed up with Charlie Puth (Fergie), Harmony Samuels (Zara Larsson), The-Dream (Beyonce), Happy Perez (Mariah Carey), Jonathan Rotem (Gwen Stefani) and Pharrell Williams (Alicia Keys).

John Legend liberates new promotional single “I Know Better”

John Legend has liberated his new promotional single online.

“I Know Better” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written and produced by Legend alongside Blake Mills, who previously teamed up with the artist on hit single, “Love Me Now.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Legend’s fifth studio collection “Darkness and Light” will arrive on December 2 via GOOD Music / Columbia Records.

The follow-up to 2013’s “Love in the Future” delivers additional alliances with Greg Kurstin, Julia Michaels, Justin Tranter, Tobias Jesso Jr., John Henry Ryan, Matt Sweeney, Tyler Johnson, and Joel Compass.

Olly Murs has announced the details for his new single.

The British singer-songwriter christened “Years & Years” as the third promotional cut from his fifth studio collection, “24 HRS.”

“Years & Years” was co-written by Wayne Hector, who also worked with the likes of Gabrielle Aplin (“Anybody Out There”), Eliza Doolittle (“Big When I Was Little”), Carly Rae Jepsen (“Your Type”) and Pixie Lott (“Paper Planes”).

Production duties were handled by Steve Mac, whose recent credits include Clean Bandit (“Rockabye”), Anne-Marie (“Alarm”), Sabrina Carpenter (“Thumbs”), Ina Wroldsen (“Mary’s Story”) and Louisa Johnson (“So Good”).

Murs’ latest album “24 HRS” – featuring previous singles “Grow Up” and “You Don’t Know Love” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Tom Odell unveils music video for new single “Silhouette”

Tom Odell has unveiled the music video for his new single online.

The British singer, songwriter, and producer posted the Charles Mehling-directed clip for “Silhouette” to his Vevo channel on Friday (November 25, 2016).

“Silhouette” was co-written by Jamie Scott, whose credits include Niall Horan’s “This Town” [Capitol], Jessie Ware’s “Till the End” [Interscope], Izzy Bizu’s “Glorious” [Sony Music] and Major Lazer’s “Cold Water” [Mad Decent].

Meanwhile, Odell’s sophomore album “Wrong Crowd” – featuring singles “Here I Am,” “Magnetized” and “Concrete” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Jon Maguire (One Direction, Shane Filan), Corey Sanders (Catherine McGrath, Stephanie Rainey), Kasper Larsen (Nina Nesbitt, Imani Williams) and Mich “Cutfather” Hansen (Kylie Minogue, Olly Murs).

Production duties on “Rhythm Inside” were handled by Fraser T. Smith, whose other credits include Craig David (“6 of 1 Thing”), GRACE (“Boyfriend Jeans”), Ellie Goulding (“Your Biggest Mistake”) and Gavin James (“Bitter Pill”).

Scott, on the other hand, is expected to release his upcoming debut studio collection – featuring previous single “Dancing on My Own” – in 2017 via Universal Music Group / Capitol Records.

Sevyn Streeter has announced the details for her new single.

The singer-songwriter christened “Before I Do” as the next promotional cut from her upcoming debut album “Girl Disrupted” and will release it on December 2 via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

“Before I Do” serves as the follow-up to previous promotional singles “D4L” (featuring The-Dream), “My Love for You” (co-written by Damon Thomas) and “Prolly” (produced by Charlie Heat).

Other musicians reportedly backing Streeter on “Girl Disrupted” are Tricky Stewart (Bruno Mars), Sean Garrett (Chris Brown), Drumma Boy (Goapele), Bangladesh (Kelly Rowland) and Cameron Wallace (Beyonce).
