Rodney Jerkins, also known by his stage name Darkchild, is an American record producer and songwriter.
He has helmed a broad range of popular singles including “What About Us?” (Brandy), “Angel of Mine” (Monica), “Make Me” (Janet Jackson), “Déjà vu” (Beyonce), “It’s Not Right, But It’s Okay” (Whitney Houston), “If You Had My Love” (Jennifer Lopez), “He Wasn’t Man Enough” (Toni Braxton), “Say My Name” (Destiny’s Child) and “Telephone” (Lady Gaga).
