Jason “Poo Bear” Boyd has hinted at a new collaboration with Sam Smith.
“Amazing creating history with you @samsmithworld !!” the songwriter posted to his Instagram account on Thursday (December 08, 2016).
Boyd is known for co-writing international hit singles including “What Do You Mean” (Justin Bieber), “Where Are U Now” (Jack Ü), “She Ain’t You” (Chris Brown), “Bitch Bad” (Lupe Fiasco) and “Work” (Kelly Rowland).
His extensive resume boasts further works with Usher (“Caught Up”), Pink (“Love is Such a Crazy Thing”), Kelis (“Handful”), Ludacris (“Contagious”), Mya (“Lock U Down”), Amerie (“Just Like Me”) and Blu Cantrell (“Round Up”).
Meanwhile, Smith is expected to release his sophomore studio collection in 2017 via Method Records and Capitol Records.
The still-untitled project reportedly delivers further contributions from Jimmy Napes (Ellie Goulding), Malay (John Legend), Levi Lennox (Zayn Malik), Mark Taylor (Enrique Iglesias) and Cass Lowe (Ella Henderson).
Smith’s first studio collection, 2014’s “In the Lonely Hour,” debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Stay With Me” and “I’m Not the Only One.”
