Charli XCX hits the studio with Sasha Sloan for a new collaboration

Charli XCX has teamed up with Sasha Sloan for a new collaboration.

Sloan is known for co-writing Steve Aoki’s “Just Hold On” alongside Erik Rosse, Nolan “Sir Nolan” Lambroza and the song’s featured vocalist, Louis Tomlinson.

Born Alexandra Yatchenko, the singer-songwriter’s resume boasts further works with Kaskade (“Phoenix), Idina Menzel (“I Do”), Austin Mahone (“For Me + You”) and Madison Beer (“Out Loud”).

Meanwhile, XCX – real name Charlotte Aitchison – is expected to release her third studio collection later this year via Asylum Records / Atlantic Records.

Lead single “After the Afterparty” – now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets – was co-written by RAYE and Eyelar Mirzazadeh with production duties from SOPHIE, Fred Gibson, and Stargate.

On the songwriting front, XCX recently co-penned “Drum” for Danish recording artist MØ alongside regular collaborators Jonnali “Noonie Bao” Parmenius and Michael “BloodPop” Tucker.

XCX’s previous credits include’s “Boys & Girls,” RAYE’s “I, U, Us,” Selena Gomez’s “Same Old Love,” Madeon’s “Ok,” James Blunt’s “When I Find Love Again,” Icona Pop’s “I Love It,” and Neon Jungle’s “So Alive.”
