Chelcee Grimes inks new deal with RCA Label Group UK

Chelcee Grimes has signed a new deal with RCA Label Group UK and will release her debut album later this year.

“So excited to finally announce I’ve just signed to Sony RCA!!! So excited for 2017!!! Album Coming Soon!!! @RCALabelGroupUK,” the British singer-songwriter tweeted on Monday (January 16, 2017).

The Sony Music Entertainment imprint is also home to artists including Alicia Keys, Beyonce, Zayn Malik, Paloma Faith, Chloe Black, Rebecca Ferguson, G-Eazy, Billie Marten, Laura Mvula, Martin Garrix, and The Chainsmokers.

As a songwriter, Grimes has contributed to the next projects by Anne-Marie, Dua Lipa, Rita Ora, Sigma, Kesha, Imani Williams, Aston Merrygold, KStewart, Sigala, Mollie King, Becky Hill, Camden Cox, Karen Harding, and Tamera Foster.

Her previous credits include Kylie Minogue’s “Million Miles,” The Saturdays’ “Walking Through the Desert,” Sweet California’s “Down With Ya,” BOA’s “First Time,” Louisa Johnson’s “So Good,” Stanaj’s “Romantic,” Olly Murs’ “Deeper,” and Chris Lane’s “All the Time.”

Grimes’ extensive resume boasts further works with producers Cutfather, Richard “Biff” Stannard, Mark Taylor, Steve Mac, Lucas Secon, Kasper Larsen, Tre Jean-Marie, Moon Willis, Shift K3Y, Billboard, Future Cut, Electric, TMS, Red Triangle, KnightStarr, Laconic, Digital Farm Animals, and Banx & Ranx.

She also co-penned songs with fellow songwriters including Kara DioGuardi, Maegan Cottone, Lindy Robbins, Autumn Rowe, Ina Wroldsen, Dee Adam, Camille Purcell, Taylor Parks, Wayne Hector, Paddy Byrne, Iain James, Ed Drewett, JHart, Clarence Coffee Jr., Alex Smith, and Paul Barry.
