Kat Dahlia has teamed up with Polly A. and J-Roc for a new collaboration.
“In my next life, I wanna end up right back in the studio makin music with J-Roc and Kat Dahlia,” Polly A. posted to Instagram on Thursday (January 26, 2017).
The singer/songwriter – born Meleni Smith – previously co-wrote “Mirror,” “Lava” and “Clocks” on Dahlia’s debut album, 2015’s “My Garden.”
Polly A.’s songwriting resume boasts further works with Alicia Keys (“Love is My Disease”), J. Cole (“Crooked Smile”), Selena Gomez (“Bang Bang Bang”), Jordin Sparks (“Left … Right”) and Natasha Bedingfield (“Happy”).
The 222 Recording artist’s mini-collection “Ghetto Gold Dream” – featuring “The Brooklyn Song,” “Sing Along” and “Like We Used To” – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.
Meanwhile, J-Roc is responsible for producing singles performed by Jennifer Hudson (“Walk it Out”), Beyonce (“Drunk in Love”), Justin Timberlake (“Suit & Tie”) and Michael Jackson (“Love Never Felt So Good”).
Dahlia, on the other hand, is expected to release her sophomore studio collection later this year via Vested in Culture / Epic Records.
The still-untitled project reportedly delivers further contributions from Jon Levine (Bebe Rexha), Lauren Christy (Zara Larsson), Digital Farm Animals (Liam Payne) and Scott Harris (The Chainsmokers).
