Liv Dawson premieres music video for new single “Searching”

Liv Dawson has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The British singer-songwriter posted the visual clip for “Searching” to her Vevo channel on Tuesday (February 28, 2017).

“Searching” – now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming outlets – was written by Jimmy Napes alongside the song’s producers Guy and Howard Lawrence of Disclosure.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Dawson is currently working on her upcoming debut album under Method Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers further productions from TMS, Knightstarr, Phairo, Richard “Biffco” Stannard, Nexus, Two Inch Punch, GRADES, Fred Cox, Chris Leonard, and Mojam.

On the songwriting front, Dawson has worked with Lucy “Pawws” Taylor, Sam Romans, Frances, Levi Lennox, Amy Wadge, Bruno Major, Dayo Olatunji, Grace Barker, Tobias Jesso Jr., and Laura Dockrill.

Camila Cabello enlists Billy Walsh for debut solo album

Camila Cabello has enlisted Billy Walsh for her upcoming debut album.

The Canadian songwriter, fashion stylist, and designer is known for co-writing “Holy War,” “In Common” and “Back to Life” for Alicia Keys alongside regular collaborator Carlo “Illangelo” Montagnese.

Walsh’s songwriting resume boasts further works with Elijah Blake (“Live Till We Die”), The Weeknd (“Die for You”), Majid Jordan (“Something About You”), Post Malone (“I Fall Apart”) and Somewhere Else (“Move Together”).

Mewanwhile, Cabello is expected to release her debut solo studio collection later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers further contributions from Andrew “Pop” Wansel (Rihanna), Frank Dukes (Kanye West), Ammar Malik (Selena Gomez), Ryan Tedder (Leona Lewis) and Amy Wadge (Ed Sheeran).

Cabello’s current collaboration with Norwegian producer Cashmere Cat, “Love Incredible,” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Kai teams up with Justin Raisen for a new collaboration

Canadian singer/songwriter Kai has teamed up with Justin Raisen for a new collaboration.

The American producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist is known for his works with Charli XCX (“Nuclear Seasons”), Santigold (“Who I Thought You Were”), Kylie Minogue (“If Only”), Sky Ferreira (“You’re Not the One”), Alex Winston (“We Got Nothing”), Theophilus London (“Why Even Try?”), Kim Gordon (“Murdered Out”), Ariel Pink (“Picture Me Gone”), Little Boots (“Satellite”), and Angel Olsen (“Shut Up Kiss Me”).

Raisen’s extensive resume boasts further works with fellow musicians Ariel Rechtshaid, Daniel Nigro, Ashlee Gardner, Rivers Cuomo, Jordan Benik, Remi Nicole, Mary Raisen, and Jeremiah “Nugget” Raisen.

Meanwhile, Kai – real name Alessia De Gasperis-Brigante – is expected to release her debut project later this year.

On the still-untitled collection, the Canadian singer/songwriter has reportedly teamed up with producers Benny Cassette (Kandace Springs), BURNS (Louisa Johnson), Two Inch Punch (Kacy Hill), Joel Little (Ellie Goulding), Malay (John Legend), Daniel Heath (Lana Del Rey) and Banx & Ranx (Olly Murs).

Amongst the songwriters Kai has worked with are Jenna Andrews (Kiesza), Samuel Dew (Taylor Swift), Philip Plested (Ella Henderson), Simon Wilcox (Nick Jonas), Danny Parker (James Blunt) and Teddy Geiger (Shawn Mendes).

Keyshia Cole unleashes music video for new single “You”

Keyshia Cole has unleashed the music video for her new single online.

The singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “You” – featuring Remy Ma and French Montana – to her Vevo channel on Monday (Febraury 27, 2017).

The track was co-written by siblings Theron and Timothy Thomas, who previously teamed up with Cole on the Mike WiLL Made It-produced “New Nu,” taken from the artist’s 2014 album, “Point of No Return.”

Production duties on “You” were handled by Harmony Samuels (Kehlani, Zara Larsson) and Edgar “JV” Etienne (La’Porsha Renae, Nathan Sykes).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Cole’s seventh studio collection, “11:11 Reset,” will arrive later this year via Epic Records.

The highly-anticipated project delivers additional alliances with Danja, Elijah Blake, Denisia “Blu June” Andrews, Sam Hook, Noel “Detail” Fisher, Eric Bellinger, Gabrielle “Goldie” Nowee, and Verse Simmonds.

Abi Ocia shares new single “Konfyt”

Abi Ocia has shared her new single online.

The British singer-songwriter posted the audio clip for “Konfyt” to her SoundCloud channel on Monday (February 26, 2017).

The track was produced by London newcomer Mkulu “MK” Lee, who recently worked with Vanessa White on “Good Good.”

“Konfyt” – serving as the follow-up to previous promotional single “Running” – delivers additional production duties from Felix Joseph, whose other credits include Cosima’s “Hymns for Him,” Birdy’s “Take My Heart,” Kwabs’ “Perfect Ruin,” and Professor Green’s “Not Your Man.”

Expect to hear more music from Ocia later this year.

Karen Harding teams with Jem Cooke for new collaboration

Karen Harding has teamed up with fellow singer/songwriter Jem Cooke for a new collaboration.

“Last weekend with the incredible Jem Cooke. So amazing to get to work alongside some lushhh female vocalists,” the British singer-songwriter posted to her Instagram profile on Sunday (February 26, 2017).

Cooke previously wrote songs for Martin Garrix (“Sun is Never Going Down”), Rebecca Ferguson (“Without a Woman”), Nicole Bernegger (“Just Breathe”), James Arthur (“Take My Word for It”), Louis Baker (“Fade”) and Javeon McCarthy (“Lock and Load”).

Cooke’s resume boasts further works with producers and fellow songwriters Naughty Boy, Craze & Hoax, Bradford Ellis, Mojam, Justin Broad, Paul Herman, Levi Lennox, Amish “ADP” Patel, Jennifer Decilveo, Matthew Holmes, Philip Leigh, Troy Miller, and Isabella “Isa Machine” Summers.

Meanwhile, Harding is expected to release her new official single – which follows 2016’s “Open My Eyes” – and first studio collection later this year.

Harding’s guest vocals can be heard on the latest releases by DJ Imanos (“Gunshy”), Giorgio Moroder (“Good for Me”), Wilkinson (“Sweet Lies”), Tough Love (“Like I Can”), Blonde (“Feel Good”) and Arches (“New Love”).

Harding is also known for co-writing Alex Newell’s “Shame” alongside Tom Aspaul and the song’s producers Richard Parkhouse and George Tizzard of Red Triangle.

Ariana Grande premieres music video for new single “Everyday”

Ariana Grande has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The singer/songwriter posted the Chris Marrs Piliero- directed clip for “Everyday” to her YouTube channel on Sunday (February 26, 2017).

The Future-featuring track was co-written by regular collaborator Savan Kotecha, whose recent credits include Skip Marley’s “Lions,” Katy Perry’s “Rise,” The Weeknd’s “Love to Lay,” G-Eazy’s “Saw it Coming,” Sage the Gemini’s “Now and Later,” and Nick Jonas’ “Under You.”

Production duties on “Everyday” were handled by Ilya Salmanzadeh (Jennifer Lopez, Ellie Goulding) and Max Martin (Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera).

As mentioned in various media outlets, Grande is currently working on her upcoming fourth studio collection under Republic Records.

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2016’s “Dangerous Woman,” which peaked to number two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Into You” and “Side to Side.”
