Chelcee Grimes has teamed with Calvin Harris for a new collaboration.
It is yet to be known whether the session was intended for another artist, future Harris release, or Grimes’ upcoming debut album under RCA Records UK.
Grimes’ songwriting credits include Kylie Minogue’s “Million Miles,” The Saturdays’ “Walking Through the Desert,” Sweet California’s “Down With Ya,” BOA’s “First Time,” Louisa Johnson’s “So Good,” Stanaj’s “Romantic,” Olly Murs’ “Deeper,” and Chris Lane’s “All the Time.”
She also contributed to the next projects by Anne-Marie, Dua Lipa, Rita Ora, Sigma, Kesha, Imani Williams, Aston Merrygold, KStewart, Sigala, Mollie King, Becky Hill, Camden Cox, Karen Harding, and Tamera Foster.
Grimes’ extensive resume boasts further works with producers Cutfather, Richard “Biff” Stannard, Mark Taylor, Steve Mac, Lucas Secon, Kasper Larsen, Tre Jean-Marie, Moon Willis, Shift K3Y, Billboard, Future Cut, Electric, TMS, Red Triangle, KnightStarr, Laconic, Digital Farm Animals, and Banx & Ranx.
Meanwhile, Harris – real name Adam Richard Wiles – is scheduled to release 10 new singles later this year, including a hotly-anticipated collaboration with American singer/songwriter Frank Ocean.
In addition to Grimes, the Scottish hitmaker also worked with top songwriters including Cathy Dennis (Sophie Ellis Bextor’s “Off and On”), Karen Poole (Kylie Minogue’s “Heart Beat Rock”), Amanda Ghost (Scissor Sisters’ “All the Horses”), Ester Dean (Rihanna’s “Where Have You Been” / Mary J. Blige’s “One Life”) and Jake Shears (Kylie Minogue’s “Too Much”).
